With the lunch-time & afternoon all inclusive special menu at only $14 - dishes including pizzas & thai salads, plus a glass of house red, white or bubbly and a great hot coffee - the Red Cafe is an excellent meeting place for friends to eat & chat after shopping, or before catching a movie at the adjacent general & arthouse cinemas. The decor is bright & functional and very inviting. The main windows overlook the Napean Highway and the Southland Bridge, so there is plenty to see even if you're dining alone!

This place is amazing. The food is fresh and delicious. Full table service, staff are bright and extremely helpful. The cost for lunch for a glass of wine, meal from entree meal menu ( I have the Prawn Salad) and coffee, is about the same as a food
court meal. Great place.

I like the cafe's locatio close to the village cinemas, the menu and the specials are great and the service from the waitresses was excellent, very nice "cheers" bar atmosphere.

Food is excellent and very well presented and the frozen margaritas are the best I've ever had!

We are there every day, sometimes twice a day, and the service, quality of food and great coffee just keeps us coming back time after time.

Great food at red, came really quickly, we did not have to wait long at all. Went to see a movie afterwards would recommend for a quick tasty feed.
