Great location, great way to use a useless old building that was nonetheless a local icon. Their coffee is good - get the big cup and its good. The food is damn expensive - $18.90 for eggs benedict is expensive and though its ok, basically I can get a lot better in the city and at a cheaper price. The only advantage this shop has is its location. Oh and their muffins are terrible - too much bicarb which you can taste and ruins what otherwise looks very good.

Oh just an add on - the scone was $7.50 and it really wasn't good value. Red cup is very lucky that they have a perfect location - because based on their product they wouldn't be as good a business. Says the owner is pretty smart I guess

Went for the first time yesterday as I had heard about it. Fantastic coffee! Blew me away! Love how they are getting into the community by using local produce from customers. Really friendly!

Decent coffee is hard to find in Box Hill, but Red Cup makes it smooth and strong everytime. They have really delicious meals too. Try the zucchini fritters or the home made scones.

Its open from seven in the morning so it's great for takeaways on the way to work.

Its popularity makes it very very busy on the weekends and you pay a fair bit for the very good food but, in my opinion, it's worth every penny.

Great coffee shop, always excellent coffee and the food is delicious but it is overpriced for the area that it is in. It is able to be overpriced because there is no competition because there is a real lack of good cafes in this area.

This is our favourite new cafe. The prices are high, but the food it delicious. I just ask the price before I order, and then make an informed choice. The staff are friendly and the coffee is fantastic - really fantastic!
