The only reason I am giving it such a low score was because the last time we went we were a little disappointed.
Something new on the menu was the "BBQ" meat spread, which included many varieties of regular and game meat. Such as: crocodile, kangaroo, beef, lamb and emu, I think that was all of them. Because it was serve on a open grill/BBQ the meat continued to cook as we ate it. This meant that meat such as the kangaroo and beef cook too long so it was hard and chewy. Also the rest of the meat became difficult to eat because we were trying to quickly eat the meat that needed to be less cooked.
Overall a bit if a let down for a fine dining establishment. I'm sure they'd do better with their other dishes.

Red Ochre Grill is amazing fantastic food, view is unreal there is no where else in Adelaide you get this view back to the city with lights reflecting onto the river. The duck dish is out of this world.

This used to be our favourite restaurant, however, the last couple of times we've been the standard hasn't been as high as usual. The steak is always awesome. There's usually something new and exciting on the specials. The setting and views are very nice. It's definitely a reserve for special occasions.

Exceptional restaurant and one of Adelaide's finest. The food and atmosphere is excellent and the service is first class and silver dining. Very romantic and great location on the river.

We have had many fantastic dinners at Red Ochre. They Kangaroo Island marron was amazing. Beautiful view of the torrens and the city makes for a very special night out.

this is such a romantic wonderful restaurant. me and my husband always come here to celebrate a special night. the setting is perfect, so is the amazing food, great service and fantastic ambiance. a very special place.

The view from this restaurant is amazing. You're looking over the river Torrens at the Convention Centre, the Casion, the Hyatt and all the surrounds. It's a magnificent setting for a great meal!
