Great food and affordable too. Very generous portions and be sure to get the teh tarik! I keep coming back for more!

This is a fantastic place to grab a quick take out from. They also have a sit in area but it's a bit bland and not that inviting so better to use as a take away place. Their roti bread is the best and my kids love watching them make it.

This is a typical Malaysian/Indian restaurant that we've frequented for many years. Great curries, rotis and teh tarik. If you're game, the fish head curry is really good too. Don't expect too much in terms of ambience; the place is quite difficult to move around in and very noisy which is again typical of Indian cafes. Just go there for the good food at great value!

Lovely food, very authentic. If you like the meat on the bone or dark meat, then this is good for that - very authentic. Spice shop adjoining it also has a wide variety of stuff. Not quite my thing, but they're good at what they do, I know a lot of people who love this place

Approximate cost: $10

Space and cleanliness are the downside, but this is just like a typical Indian restaurant in Malaysia! LOL~ Most decent Indian food I can find and nearest to where I am staying. So no complain....

Rich Maha used to be a great Indian restaurant that cooks authentic Malaysian/Singaporean curries and roti's. They have a variety of nasi kandar style dishes, Indian curry puffs, pasties, vege and curries.
They used to have a branch in the city at Lt Collins St but it has now changed name and management.
Remember to try the Chicken 65- it's hot and great.

Approximate cost: $10.00

My absolute favorite place for a good curry and roti. Love the rotis. My kids especially like the ghee dosa with dhal and chutney. My personal favorite is the chicken 65. The lunch/dinner plate is really good value and I always finsih off with the malaysian tea...teh tarik.

Approximate cost: $9-15

Again hubby got takeaway, this place has an amazing range. The curries were perhaps a little greasier than Indian Delight, but again , great value. We really liked the laksa & roti chanai. The curry puffs were lovely - to die for. But the samosas were awful - inedible. I couldn't tell if it was bits of beef or egg plant in the huge casing which broke apart. Rice was a little on the crunchy side. Fish curry had lots of bones, but was tasty. Chicken curry was amazing. Has a very similar menu to Indian Delights, but is larger & has a bain marie with lots of goodies especially if you want to take away. They are very organised & friendly. If you like Malaysian Indian cuisine, then you will love this place. The hybrid is a wonderful full flavoured cuisine which is different to food from India.

Approximate cost: $9-$15
