Fantastic service called them Saturday morning and they came same day and found the problem. Thankyou Richteq.

I would not recommend that anyone use this company for any works. We paid our deposit after confirming that work would commence the next week and then faced cancellation after cancellation until we finally gave up with Richtek and employed a company who knew what they were doing.
Cant get our deposit back; cant get any answers from Richtek as no one answers the calls or someone is always going to call back and never does.
Finally, I gave up and reported them to Consumer Affairs.
My advice to everyone - save your money and go with ANY other company.

Took my 80-year-old mothers money and never turned up to do the job. They won't answer phone calls or emails! FRAUD

Do not stand by their guarantees
Refuse to acknowledge complaints
Refuse to correct problems
At least some of the tradespersons appear not to be qualified or if they are don't work too regulations or standards
Illegally requesting 50% deposit
Illegally using big company names and logos,- are not trusted partners.
Do not complete the work, let alone within timescale quoted

Quotes are over inflated when they say ALL they don't actually mean all, they have their own definition but they don't tell you what that is.
Take you to court if you don't pay the final amount even though they haven't finished the work.
User scaremongering / strong arm tactics.

Costly said would take a day or two. Took half a day. Didn’t reduce price and service rude. Delayed twice over 6 weeks. Go somewhere else not with it.

Booked someone in early Aug to quote on my garage roof and water damage in the garage. Punctual, talked the talk but spent less than 5 mins looking at the issue, plucked a figure of $15,000 to knock the garage down completely. I Requested a quote and was told I’d have it by end of the week. Called again two weeks later and asked where it was. It’s November and still haven’t heard a peep. Guess the job wasn’t big enough

Booked a plumber a week in advance as it's difficult to get time off work. I was told a plumber would be there between 12pm and 4pm, but they would call when they were on their way. Hadn't heard anything by 3:30 pm so I called them and was told the plumber couldn't make it but that they could reschedule. Incredibly frustrated that I took time off work and they couldn't even call me to let me know they weren't going to show.

Saw their ad on tv so thought I would give them a call. We had a water leak and called them Saturday morning came out and quoted us $1600 and requested $800 deposit which we paid. Came back Monday for about 20 minutes said they would be back Tuesday between 2 and 4, so I left work at 1 they showed up after 5. Told us to turn water off in the grannyflat. Was told they would be back Wednesday after 11, so I left work early again, 2 o’clock and no one showed up so I called said he had me booked in for 3 o’clock, but didn’t bother to tell me. With the water leak I managed to slip over and hurt my foot, so I was pretty upset. I rang to complain and they said they will get someone out asap to fix my leak, which didn’t happen. So Thursday I put it out on hipages and was contacted 20 minutes later by 3 plumbers. A plumber came out within 30 minutes quoted $950 and fixed the problem within 2 hours, I rang and requested my $800 refund back and they said they will give it to us if we didn’t give them a bad review! Got my money finally and here is the review!

We just moved into a new home, and I immediately noticed how dark the master bathroom was. After moving into a new property, we called Richtek for advise on how to lighten the space because we were a little concerned about installing new lights. They came out the same day we contacted, and the professional and styling advise they offered was comforting. The electrician completed the job in less than 20 minutes, left no traces of his presence, and it seemed to have been there forever. Very pleased with their efficiency & expertise.

DO NOT USE: Suggest you use anyone other than Richtek, they cancelled the job 4 times and then when we asked for a refund (we were silly enough to pay upfront for a 10% discount) they said they would refund and still no funds returned I have called and sent messages they say yes we will do that today and then nothing. Looks like lots of other people have the same issues, call the media if they are stuffing you around (that's what I will be doing) also 3 to 4 times the price of anyone else. Matthew Richardson states he stands behind every job, more like hides behind very shoddy work practices

I had very good communication with John when I asked the guys to sort out a plumbing job,John called me and. Said he would be a bit later which was good of him to let me know.When he arrived he was very friendly and gave me very good service

Our HWS died 2 weeks ago on a Monday morning, Richtek was the first, and only, Company I called. I was told within 2 hours, 1 1/2 hours later Luke was at my door, that same afternoon a temporary HWAS was fitted and the next day a new one was installed. 2 weeks later my kitchen tap fell to pieces, someone is coming out tomorrow to fit a new tap, and this is 2 weeks before Christmas!
I cannot recommend Richtek highly enough!

I would never recommend Richtek. I needed electrical work done in a hurry and made the cardinal mistake of not reading their online reviews or getting second quotes. After the fact i established they charged me more than 3 times what any other reputable Company would have charged. Must surely be the worst experience that i have had.
