When we came for dinner it was REALLY busy, but we got a table quickly. Ordered our entrees and mains and waited only 10 mins for our entree, garlic and herb bread, which was nice. We did wait, however, over an hour for our meal. I know it's because it's busy, but maybe they need more staff.

The staff that were on were busy but friendly, and run off their feet.

Food was good and we'll return on a not so busy night.

Had a room to ourselves (8) as quite a few there. Were able to talk at normal voice without shouting. The menu was great and all who went said it was lovely. The place is a bit pokey, the service was great and we had a lovely waitress, charming and friendly. Was pleased with the service as had been several time before and not great, but this time not much waiting time, much better.

went here for drink after footy match and have also dinned here as well very very busy place for a beer and service wasnt the best as so busy but service was great when had meal in dinning area and a huge meal that was very enjoyable neat dinning area and prices were reasonable for main meal and desert great old pub in great spot near main oval in town will alway call in and enjoy a beer or meal

Central location in View St near the QEO. Nice meals which are reasonably priced. My last visit was part of a large group booking and we were seated in our own section which worked well. Nice traditional bar area with different seating areas. Small courtyard out the back.

Good selection of beers at a good price. Good atmosphere, the working fireplace was a bonus - makes it very cosy. Also it's really clean, which further adds to the ambience. Service was good, the bartender was friendly and helpful, directing us towards lunch specials and meals that he recommended.

This hotel is a more traditional one. They have a variety of beers from which to choose . The meals are good and ample and very reasonable. It can get a little hectic on fridays.

A great pub that serves a delightful menu of lunch and dinner options. The cheap lunch menu is from approx $12-$15 and are decent portions for light lunches. Evening meals are just as delicious and the menu is quite extensive. The service is fairly consistent and meals are usually brought out reasonably quickly. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed and friendly.
