The food was lovely (except the desert but I'll get to that), and the views spectacular. Most of the service was good. Hard to get the attention of the waitress's which is annoying but when you did get their attention they were very nice and friendly.. except for one girl that only seamed to have the job of bringing out food and she looked like she was sucking lemons in the back before she served the food. Seamed exasperated by us all the time, like we weren't paying enough attention to her when she brought out our food. When she was serving the beef, she asked who had the beef, and I said, well how is it cooked? She gave me a face like I was an idiot, so I said, well mine was medium rare, so what is that one?? She looked annoyed and said, medium. Anyway, everyone else was lovely. And it's also one of those places where everyone has their job and goodness don't ask someone if you can order a coffee, because it isn't their job to take orders.... anyway. The entre and main was delicious. Now for the desert.. I had Creme Brule and it had an overpowering fragrance. It said it had rose water, but I think there was something else. Anyway, it was nice but... they really need to taste and smell the food before they bring it out. Now... for the toilets... really... they were disgusting. When I walked into the cubicle, the toilet seat was on the FLOOR!!! seriously.. it was worse than a public toilet. Perhaps it was a puyblic toilet, but considering it is really a lovely restaurant.. they need to take responsibility for the fact that their customers have to use that toilet... and... ok, now I am being picky... but paper napkins??? For a waterfront, highly regarded restaurant??? anyway. The food was nice, the atmosphere lovely.. but it's those little things that make this place a second rate restaurant. When I compare it to Ripples at Whale Beach, you would never think they are the same chain. Maybe that's the problem.. it's become a chain.

This is the sister restaurant of the Ripples restaurant in Milsons Point - and yes, this place is quite good too! Nice water views and great food. The only drawback is that it is hard to reach by public transport at night - the final bus would have left well before most people finish having dinner, and the walking track is a bit hard to navigate through at night as well (either through the beach or a bush area). But the food is well worth going the distance for, and it's highly recommended!

What a great place to visit on a sunny weekend for lunch. Beautiful view and food to match. We had drinks at the bar which is such a lovely space then spent the afternoon enjoying our food on the deck. This is Sydney dining!

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times with friends. It's a great place for a relaxing meal with a lovely view. The food is good but expensive and service is a bit slow.

Approximate cost: $30

Enjoyable atmosphere with a superb view. Elegant service with reasonable prices. I was walking around Chowder Bay when I saw the restaurant being built. I resolved to try it at was rewarded for my efforts. Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner most days. Consult the website for more information.
