Many food variety, but disappointing service, especially the male server. He actually scolded the customer for trying to order additional food with him, when he is the server and not the one who should be taking order. How would the customer supposed to know that? I am guessing this would be HK sort of rude serving culture, brought to Australia. No matter how great the food would be, when you have rude service, i will never come back for second time.

Unfortunately disappointing :( was hard to get across to staff that we wanted vegetarian options and they were quite rude. It was hard to see the lobsters all polled in a small tank waiting to be cooked alive

Typical HK restaurant. Service is just average but food is great. During mud crab season i recommend crab noodles. Most dishes are very tasty as well.

Love this restaurant. I frequently have take away meals here. I must say, the tofu and prawn dish is amazing!

when I'm at Glen Waverley, Im likely to pop into Rock Kung for some take-away. Rock Kung pretty much has the best roast pork, they arent that fatty.

Service was good, but what I really love about this place is the barramundi with shallots. This is my favourite dish and it is always cooked to perfection - great flavour, the fish is never overcooked and always fresh

I have tried roasted duck in many different restaurants, the one that Rock Kung served was kinda oily. Restaurant setting was quite old school. Staff weren't attentive.

Ordered roasted duck, fried spring chicken and mixed vegetable and vermicelli hot pot.

Duck was OK and I find it abit oily while chicken is nice but doesn't look good. As for hotpot, it is pretty ok.

The restaurant is not busy on weekday and food served pretty quickly.

it is no doubt that Rock Kung is one of the best restaurants around Glen Waverley area. Particularly it provides one of the best Hong Kong dinning experience. Its waiters have always been conducted themselves in that HK style. I recommend for take away unless you can stand their attitude when you are spending only $20 for two.

The food is pricey, but decent. The waitstaff are horribly rude and aren't attentive at all! I've had so many horrible experiences with this restaurant, and although the food is decent, this place is no longer worth the time or money.
