Food was decent but wait times were horrendous. We asked for water at the beginning of our meal and we didn't even receive it in the end, despite asking for it twice. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. It took us more than 5 minutes to ask for dessert to only be told the parfaits weren't available (we had three staff walk by us in the 5 minutes we tried to order more food). Dishes were $6.80 each which wasn't too bad. This place does not do split bills, which normally doesn't matter to me, but the treatment by the staff was absolutely horrendous. The staff ambled around and didn't really care to accommodate the customer(s).

Approximate cost: $25

The food is always great but some of the staff are a little hard to communicate to as English is not their first language. The manager is also quite rude and does not even try to be accomodating when the waitress ordered the wrong food meal for us. We were told that we had to eat it and essentially deal with it even though the problem was not from our side. We've had plenty of good experiences with the food and atmosphere but management needs improving.

Approximate cost: $15-20

The food is ordinary. I've been here a couple of times, and I'm not that much of a fan. It's a busy place and can get quite loud. I personally dislike the karaoke and bands (this is at night) as I'm not a fan of loud obnoxious music while I'm dining. There is a large spacious area for dancing if you wish.

The service is pretty decent with the staff attending to your every needs. It is easy to get their attention and you do not have to wait long for whatever you ask for (providing it is not food related. I had to wait for fish for more than half an hour when it was busy).

I went here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was really fabulous (it was my first time there) but the customer service was appalling; I had to chase the waitress a couple of times about the meals and etc.

The meals and drinks were reasonably priced and I had a good time there (the running about was a minor problem).

Approximate cost: $15-$20

I had previously been to the Papa Roti in Doncaster, so I expected great things from this place. It was quite new when I went to it (which to be honest, I have only been there twice and that was around the time it opened), meaning that they were probably getting used to things.

The food was decent (love the roti!) but it seemed disorganised and there was a bit of a wait for the food. The drinks are upwards of $4 and you can expect to pay $10-$15 for a cheap meal. I'm sure the business is faring better now, but my first experiences with it has put me off to dine there again.

Due to my Doncaster experience and the fact that I had dined there when it first opened, I marked it a tad bit higher than I would've.

Approximate cost: $10-$15

This business has since closed down, but before that, this was my go to places when I wanted to eat something. They had a range of different dishes meaning that if I wanted western and someone else wanted asian, our needs would be fully satiated.

The service was quite ordinary, and it had a cafe type of feel to it (which I suppose it should've). The food was really lacking before it closed down, but that was due to a new chef, if I remember. I've been quite disappointed about its closure as there aren't any decent restaurants I've been to that sell both asian and western food.

Approximate cost: $15+

This is possibly one of the best places to get desserts and drinks. The food and drinks are amazing, although quite pricey, eek! If I remember correctly, my ice chocolate was ~$8 and I normally have a palette which has an assortment of chocolate, mousse, ice-cream, etc., that was most likely $16.50+ (I can't seem to recall the exact price)

I've never had to wait that long in lines, but the service has been excellent every single time. The interior of the cafe provides a warm atmosphere and there is a very luxurious feel to it.

I purchased my father's cake here for his birthday. I had a durian, cream-filled cake and it was delicious. I don't remember the price for the cake but it was under $30 and it was pretty big. Please remember that these cakes are the 'asian' type of cakes you see at birthdays and etc.

The guy who does the cakes is pretty well-known. The backstory is that he used to bake at home until he got too busy and had to open up a shop!

He (the owner/baker/decorator) chucked in some free number candles as well, which was super sweet and he packaged everything really nicely.

The decorations were wonderful as well :) I will be purchasing my cakes from here for any other occasion that comes up.

I go to Safeway more than Coles due to it being placed a tad bit closer. I normally go there after school and whenever I need to buy groceries. My father prefers Coles as it is cleaner, and he prefers the products.

Safeway has a lot of product variety at a decent price. I've been friendly with a lot of the older staff (they are not elderly, but they no longer work there/I do no see them anymore).

The staff do their job and I can't really complain. The lines are sometimes long, but you will only wait for maybe five minutes at most. Additionally, I love how it is opened till late at night (as I don't do much of my shopping until maybe 10 or 11pm).

I sometimes purchase my lunch from here. Everything is at a decent price though I do believe it is a tad bit more expensive due to quality and etc. The breads are quite good and I like the taro buns ($4?). Cakes are quite expensive (~$30 for a small cake) and the tiramisu is meh but the black forest cake is pretty good!

Approximate cost: $~$3/small item
