I have been here as a guest in the function room. The room is really modern and looks fantastic - although there is very little seating provided for your guests. The finger food served was tasty and the bar prices reasonable.

I have only dined at this place when having the $25 dollar meal deal where you recieve entree, main and dessert. The food is honest and tasty, wine list is adequate and very comfy booths to sit in.

We've eaten in this restaurant 4 times. All four experiences were very different. First time was fantastic. The fish and chips were beautiful. Second time we were served burnt fish. Third time was uneventful. Fourth time, we were served a very very tough beef rogan josh. It was like eating rubber and it was just not edible. We had to return the dish untouched and still had to pay for it. The food was very disappointing. All 4 times we had our guests with us. We've decided not to go there anymore as we can never know whether the food will be good or bad on that day. We don't like surprises in our food every time we go there. Always seems to be short handed too when we are there. Have to wait for any service.

Attended the restaurant for a birthday with mixed expectations. Was very, very surprised at the high quality service, well-priced but very tasty meals and the relaxed mood of the place. At some other restaurants you can't enjoy your meal very much because it's too loud and there's too many little kids running amok, however, at Romanza this wasn't a problem. The tables were evenly spaced so you didn't have to feel cramped and the friendly staff were very observant and helpful.

Have been to this resturant a few times recently for varied events and meals. Meals and wine list generally better than average. Also breakfast and coffee pretty good.
They could make better use of the outside decking.

Attended a private function in the bar section. Staff were friendly (although that may have been overdrawn due to the open bar) and food was absolutely delicious. Ambience was lovely and views (although obstructed by the carpark) were quite nice also.

For a business lunch or couple this has been excellent value, atmosphere and delicious variety of food. In the restaurant the service is great, especially if Anne the American waitress is there. Evening meals are a bit pricey but yummy. Kid friendly but awkward if kids are active and haven't brought things to do.

Approximate cost: $15 for lunch special

Sometimes this place is great, but when it has a bad night it can be really slow because its so big. Best seats are around the edge (and the view to the hills is good). Generally quick service and generous serves too.
