Overpriced! Chicken was pink and undercooked. Waste of money. Avoid!
I adore this place! I took my cousin here whilst she was over from London and she adored it...
Lunch at Rossini was overall pretty good. I think they needed more waiters/waitress on a weekend as it took a while to be seater and getting the billed was even longer.
There was heaps of delicious food on the menu and I chose the Sicilian Steak Panino, which was really good, but I would have preferred the steak medium instead of well done. My meal also came with some chunky chips which were delicious.
Approximate cost: $23
They didn't give you the option as to how to cook the steak? Unusual
No, they didn't ask me how I wanted the steak. The waitress only told me that there was bread with it (which wasn't mentioned on the menu).
So, it was more similar to a steak sandwhich on turkish bread
I had lunch here while I was in Sydney for the day. It was very good value for money with large portion sizes for very reasonable prices. The waiter also brought us complimentary bread while we waited for our mains! It's in a great location with views of the harbour bridge depending on where you sit. The wait staff were very professional and we received our meals very quickly. I had a very enjoyable meal and would happily visit again when I'm in the area!
Approximate cost: $18.00
Had lunch today at the Rossini Restaurant, overlooking the Sydney harbour Bridge and abit of the Opera House. It was raining but the outside area was undercover so I sat outside. I ordered a chicken crepe with salad and an ice mocha. The crepe was very tasty and ice mocha was very rich. They have desserts available as well but I was too full. A nice and casual lunch in a relaxing environment with nice staff.
Approximate cost: $18
Might try this out now, I have a discount voucher, wondered what it was like
The menu looks fantastic, the food sounds delicious, the website is attractive, the location is beautiful... and yet the the food was an absolute disappointment! I couldn't believe how bland and unappealing the pizza and pasta we ordered were. Tiny, tiny serves (at $15+ each - and they're not designed to share) that don't even look close to being authentically Italian. More like something I'd get at a school canteen or the freezer aisle at Coles. I cannot understand the enormous contrast between the menu/atmosphere/history of this place and the food they served us. Perhaps the chef was away or something? It just did not make sense at all!
Approximate cost: $15-$25
What a shame! I had a wonderful experience here and our food was great, large portions! I had a schnitzel and my partner had one of the pastas and we were both really impressed! Maybe they were training a new chef or something when you went? :(
