Got SOS in on recommendation to remove a very large tree. Quote was very reasonable. Got all the work done in one day which was amazing. Left site very clean. Consider them to be very honest and reliable. Have no hesitation in recommending them. All my future work will go to them.

Earlier this week I had two trees removed from my property. The quote received from Southside was by far the best, in terms of price and attention to detail, and all work was duly completed with efficiency, promptness and courtesy. As well as this, while the trees were being felled, there were a couple of little 'incidentals' which became apparent, such as small saplings which were sprouting. It was explained to me that these could become problematic in the future and, with my approval, they were reomoved also, at no extra cost. Such goodwill and generosity are much appreciated. The people at Southside clearly know their stuff, both in terms of job-related skills and in delivering customer satisfaction. I will have no hestitation in obtaining their services as needed in the future, and can highly recommend them to anyone similarly wishing to have trees removed. Their degree of professionalism in every regard was very impressive.

I used the Southside outdoor service for the first time. They were outstanding and went beyond the call of duty. They found a number of old branches on my pine while they were up there which i did notice. They cut them for free without complaining. They also cut some extra bushes to keep the sidewalk clear for free also. It showed that they really cared about my garden, and gave great advice about my garden and left the place cleaner that is has been for a while. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone.

We have used Southside Outdoor Service (SOS) for about 5 years now, after moving to a house in Mulgrave, we got SOS in because the next neighbours kept asking us to have a large Elm tree removed from our front yard as it dropped leaves which looked messy the 50 year old tree was one of the reasons we had picked this house. When SOS came to give us a quote on the removal the Elm they said the tree was very healthy and safe, that we should think about it a few months before having removed just to keep on the right side of a neighbour as once it been cut down it couldn't be put up again. We felt SOS cared about this tree as much as us, they could have just cut it down made some money then moved on to anther customer. Now 5 years on we still a very healthy tree, which give us a lot of shade in the summer. The old neighbours moved out 4 years ago and our new neighbours said they love the shade too.
This is the reason when we wanted some trees removed from our back yard we got SOS back. Best of all they did it when we where at work and the yard was very clean when we got home.

We've had these guys come several times. Initially we got several quotes from other tree companies, now we just go straight to SOS. Sometimes it's been necessary to remove a tree, sometimes they just need a trim, sometimes the trees are fine as is. The guys give good advice, get on with the job and clean up after and we've been glad of the big pile of mulch to spread around the garden. They're pleasant to talk with and have I no hesitation recommending them.

A large tree had to be removed and the job was done very professionally and the site was well cleaned up

A huge gum tree fell across our front yard late on a Saturday afternoon. My phone message for help was quickly followed up with an assessment visit on Sunday. The team arrived on Monday to remove the tree - wood sawed to a good length for our fireplace and the rest of the tree mulched for our garden. All achieved quickly with care taken on what remained of the garden!
