This is a large, well laid out Safeway and I enjoy shopping here. It is expensive though - I read somewhere that it was one of the most expensive in Victoria. And parking can be a problem. But it's clean and staff are friendly.

It was really pleasant and the staff were really nice. There is a large range of food and other things and it's a pleasant shopping experience.

This safeway has a great range of food. It was easy to find stuff and huge selections, the tills seemed easy to get through and quick and if you didn't want to wait around the self service seemed easily available. The employees were helpful and i enjoyed the experience

Bought good there today a clear 10 days past their use by date - hot dogs for children's treat to be exact and when I rang the store to let them know all they cared about was making sure I had the receipt when I came back in to return them! Completely unwilling and unaware of customer service and safety, expecting me to drive all the way back there (loading babies back into car) to exchange products that should not even be on the shelf. I am just glad I checked the date before feeding to the children, otherwise it may have been alot worse than a grumpy customer and a dismissive safeway employee. VERY POOR INDEED.

Great grocery range, 24 hour store hours, and friendly staff when you need help, what more can you ask for a satisfying shopping experience?
The only downside is that if you are a smoker, you have to queue again to buy it since you cannot purchase a smoke at a checkout register.

This supermarket is so much better than the nearby one on Riversdale Road in middle Camberwell, that it seems like a haven by comparison. The staff are satisfactory or sometimes good - there are a few really nice check-out staff. It is well stocked and I've never experienced incorrect pricing at the check-out (unlike middle camberwell safeway where it is rife). Overall a satisfactory shopping experience.

From a grocery perspective they have a great range.

I am disappointed with the recent renovations in that they now prevent smokers from buying their smokes at registers - forcing them to queue up again.

From next year I will shop at Camberwell's new Coles IF Coles allow you to buy smokes in the one transaction with your grocery shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!
