This is a great little shop. Staff are very friendly, and willing to carry boxes out to the car for you. Good old fashioned service. Fruit and vegies are fresh and affordable.

This is a large, well laid out Safeway and I enjoy shopping here. It is expensive though - I read somewhere that it was one of the most expensive in Victoria. And parking can be a problem. But it's clean and staff are friendly.

Great products. Their eye primer is fantastic - eyeshadow stays on all day. Other products are great too.

This place is a real find. Delicious food, and lots of small bite-size cakes that are perfect for entertaining. Their truffles and biscuits are amazing also.

Great shop to while away a few hours! Huge range of books and staff are very knowledgeable. Parking can be a problem though, particularly on weekends.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. Staff are very helpful, food is amazing. Fairly pricey, but wonderful for a special occasion. Their chocolate souffle is to die for!

Massive servings of fairly ordinary food. Steaks aren't particularly good quality, crumbed calamari was tough. Pizza's are quite good, and grilled salmon was also tasty. Try their icecream dessert - it will be big enough for 3-4 people!

This is always busy for brunch on a weekend, so best to book. Food is great, and it's lovely if you can manage a table outside.

We eat here often. Food has improved since Sofia's opened next door, and portion sizes are great. Can be very noisy, but still an institution in Balwyn.
