Sally-Anne Gordon is a speech pathologist with the experience, understanding and compassion to change your child's life. When we first met Sally-Anne we didn't know if our son would talk and she gave us the skills and pushed us to work hard with him to get him to communicate. She also cried tears of joy with us when those words did come and he started talking.
Sally-Anne gives us help and support in so many areas beyond speech therapy and we will be forever grateful we found her. Finding a therapist who really understands your child can be hard, but we were lucky to strike gold with Sally-Anne and will continue to sing her praises.

My son was diagnosed with Autism at age 3. We were already receiving speech therapy and continued with the same therapist for the next year. Although my son made some slight progress, I felt he needed a different approach. I had heard wonderful things about Sally-Ann and was feeling positive after our very first phone conversation. Right from our first meeting, Sally-Ann was caring, fun, understanding and compassionate. Our sessions are always tailored to my sons needs which has helped give us the tools we need to help him further at home. My son is unfortunately not always on his best behaviour, but Sally-Ann manages him so well and is always there to lend a caring ear and offer advice where she can.

My son's progress has been amazing over the past year. My friends and family just cannot believe how far he has come, and I know Sally-Ann deserves quite a lot credit for this. We are soon to start our journey into a mainstream school and I am just so glad that I will have Sally-Ann's help and support with this exciting but scary time.

I would, and have, recommend Sally-Ann too all people looking for a truly wonderful speech therapist.

We started taking our son Hugo (2yrs 8months) to see Sally-Ann about 10 weeks ago. We had been concerned that his speech was not progressing as well as it should have been, since his grommets went in earlier this year. Sally-Ann had been referred to us by the director of our boys childcare centre and she told us Sally-Ann was regarded as one of the best in the State. And boy was she right. She diagnosed Hugo with a phonological delay and in the 10 weeks since we commenced seeing her, we have seen rapid progress. She tapes all sessions and gives you the DVD to take home which we have found valuable, as I can take it home and show my husband what has happened throughout the session, and it allows him to be involved. Sally taught us what we needed to do to assist Hugo with his speech at home. Her sessions are all based around play and Hugo is so happy there. He just loves to go and see Sally. Throughout the session she works and plays with Hugo, but all the while informing me of what she is doing and why, and how we can apply this to what we do at home. My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with Hugo's progress, as well as Sallys professionalism, her calm and caring manner with Hugo, her direct nature, everything. Thank you Sally. We highly recommend her.

My son was given a provisional diagnosis of Autism at 2 years of age by his pediatrician.
Over the next 2 years we saw two speech therapists and I became very despondent with speech therapy and questioned the benefits of it. I was left feeling confused about whether my son had autism or not and what needed to be done. His problems and needs were never pin pointed and made clear to me and I didn't know what I needed to do to help him.
Fortunately I was recommended to see Sally-Ann and that's when things changed for us. Sally-Ann gave a second diagnosis of autism.
The more we saw Sally-Ann the more the foggy confusion began to clear. She identified what his problems were, what needed to be done and how we could do it. At last we had some clarity and direction.

The right therapy and therapist best suited to my sons needs and the unique approach is what has helped us. We found the glove that fits with Sally-Ann.

I never felt we were just another client walking through the door. Sally-Ann is a very genuine and caring person and her heart and soul is in what she does.

My son is about to turn 5 and we have been seeing Sally-Ann for the past 10 months. He has made huge improvements over this time. Looking back to where we have come from and where we are now gives me so much optimism for my sons future.
My son will be turning 5 and going to school soon. I have really appreciated Sally-Anns help and guidance given to me to make the transition to school smoother for him.

My son loves going to see Sally-Ann which is important for us. It is a comfortable and relaxed home environment.

We are so thankful, grateful and lucky to have found Sally-Ann.

My daughter has high-functioning Autism and had speech therapy with Sally-Anne Gordon for 3 years, ending earlier this year.At the age of 3, my daughter had no concept of the English language and only used phrases she had heard on television, sometimes at the right time. She would have constant meltdowns as well.Sally-Anne's therapy was always play-based and in a comfortable home setting. My daughter now has very good language (receptive and expressive) and has very few meltdowns. She is in a mainstream classroom, is on par with her peers academically and enjoys school. My daughter no longer needs speech therapy but I recently recommended Sally-Anne to a friend of mine whose child also has ASD - she rang me after the first session to wholeheartedly thank me for recommending Sally-Anne to her.Sally-Anne is a beautiful person, ethical, very skilled, knowledgeable and really cares about her clients and their families.

Amazing speech therapist who is the best we have ever found. She is beautiful with our child, warm caring and so accommodating to all of his individual needs. Our child has developed beyond our dreams over the last 12 months under her care. I do and will consistently recommend her to people who have children in need of a brilliant speech therapist.

Sally-Ann is a very unique person and if you want results for your child then she is the person to see. Our son has been having regular sessions with her for 3 years and she has transformed the quality of his life. What a phenomenal person to persist, constantly take different approaches as he progressed and we are forever grateful. She is incredibly tuned in to the needs of the child and the best methods to use to get through to them. To build a good foundation you need rock solid ground work. Without the solid foundation the building blocks don't stack up. Sally-Ann is absolutely the person to help you and your family to build this foundation. My husband and I both have the utmost respect for her and my son adores her.

I often get to take my grandson to his sessions with Sally-Ann and I find her informative, friendly and I feel very confident with her teachings of him. I constantly see the improvements in him from the lessons.
