We have been coming here for a long time. Unfortunately the prices have gone up and they have changed their menu and their bread but it is still quite a nice cafe. The coffee is quite ordinary and often not great but the food is good. They also offer free wifi so we will still come but not as often.

In agreement with the other reviewers, this is a really nice little cafe that I've been to recently with a friend who lives around here. He's a regular and I might become one too if I lived closer.

It's welcoming and pleasant, staff are friendly and everyone looks as if they want to be there.

Food was tasty and service fast - on this occasion I only had some toasted cheese sandwiches and a cappuccino but it was nicely presented, hot and delicious.

Would definitely go back.

We went to Saloop Cafe for the first time today and had lunch. The coffee was very good, great taste and good temperature. My partner had the beef korma which was amazing, the beef was so tender, the rice was fluffy and crisp poppadoms finished with some raitha - yum! I had a cheese and spinach pastry and salad, the filling and spinach were tasty but I would have preferred it to be much crispier than it was as it was a bit soggy, I suspect due to the reheating process. Overall the staff were friendly, service was good and I would go back again to try more of the items on the menu.

Saloop is a nicely presented little cafe with ready-made Foccacias and other items for lunch. I've had the Tandoori and Cajun foccacias (on seperate visits) and they have both been really tasty. The staff are always very pleasant and the service is fast.

Stopped by this cafe yesterday for lunch and was served the most amazing burger I have ever received - It was simply magnificant. It was also served with fat chips and both a garlic aoili and tomato sauce. Very impressed and the service was also very freindly and the staff made you feel welcome.

Usually have breakfast and lunch here. They have a wide variety of foods but their signature dish is their bacon and eggs. Simple, but absolutely delicious!
