As always restaurants in Port Douglas never disappoint, and this is another one to add to your must visit list. Food is beautiful, staff are great and friendly, and atmosphere is fantastic. There seafood has to be the best out there, and the portion size is literally perfect. Leave room for dessert, and order yourself the dessert tasting plate!

Not sure if we went on an off night, but food wasn't quite as amazing as peoe have suggested to me..had Thai chicken spring rolls to start, thought something different would be good..it was a strange taste, not awful..just different..should stick to normal spring rolls maybe?main was the Pork belly which was nice, well cooked but croquettes weren't great.desserts weren't too much to choose for I had cream caramel which was way too sweet.$17 was alot for a dessert too.place is very very pricey, but I didn't think it was worth it at all.

We went for lunch while on holiday from Melbourne. Friendly staff and lovely food! My Thai curry chicken spring rolls were flavor some and had a fresh salad. Other dishes included green tea calamari which were stacked on a bed of thin noodles. The desserts were gorgeously presented and so beautiful we took photos of them. The chocolate dessert was like a mousse sandwiched with biscuits with a mango sorbet and the white chocolate passionfruit trifle with blood orange sorbet was also scrumptious! Highly recommended and you probably need to book if you go at night.

Absolutely amazing. The menu was exquisite and changes regularly. The desserts were presented beautifully and were delicious. We could not fault this restaurant. You need to book a few days in advance as it is so popular

Approximate cost: $30

Absolutely loved this restaurant. We needed to book a few days in advance. Desserts were amazing, particularly the one to share - 3 different little desserts on the one platter.

Approximate cost: $30

Yum! I could eat here every night what an absolute delight. The staff were friendly but not overbearing, the food was exquisite. I can understand why this is the first restaurant to be recommended by the locals, it by far exceeded my expectations.

Since 1995 this restaurant has been patronised by tourists and locals alike. It offers consistancy through owner/chef Bill Conway who was there from conception. As varous restaurants (and kitchen staff) come and go, the back bone of Salsa has not changed. The dishes on the menu are tried (not tired) and true, but listen to the staff as the specials can be truely that. In my humble opinion, the Thai Green Curry Spring Rolls on the lunch menu are the main reason I would return to PD. The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent offering indoor and outdoor dining. The cocktails from the bar are sensational, don't try the old favorites, ask the bar staff for one of their own tropical creations....
