Attended a work function recently at Sammy's which was just perfect for me as I am a lover of Seafood. The views are spectacular, very relaxing, great in summer or winter, the staff are friendly and professional, the atmoshere great. I started with oysters, wow, so fresh, garlic prawns are a must. excellent wine list. Overall, an excellent experience that will be repeated in the new year with visiting family.

Hard to beat the location of this seaside restaurant, although with so much glass it can actually get quite glarey in summer. The food however is great. Fresh seafood, as you would expect, is well cooked and presented. Flathead is particularly yummy as are the freshly shucked oysters. Can become quite pricey.

We recently had our work Christmas dinner here and all I can say is what a very professional establishment it is. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to our group, we were able to enjoy the sea views from our table. The restaurant was clean and its décor very modern and chic.

I had the oysters Kilpatrick as my main, which was delicious and very fresh. Drink prices were similar to that of other nearby eateries. Would definitely dine here again on a special occasion.

This restaurant has been disappointing on our last 2 visits - which will be our last. Service was below average with the staff looking like they were being tortured. The food was so-so. Location is fabulous which means nothing if the rest doesn't fall into place.

Me and my girlfriends went a trip to Adelaide and we decided to have lunch in this restaurant... The view is amazing... when we came it was a beautiful day... Sunny and it was perfect weather to enjoy seafood.. We ordered the oyster shots.. seafood platter, king george whiting and white bait ... The food was lovely..and the service was excellent too ..

Our most recent visit to Sammy's was a massive disappointment. The food was below average especially considering the price and three out of four of us felt quite ill the next day. My calamari tasted of old fish and the serves were smaller than you would expect. We were a massive inconvenience to the waitress who was sort of serving us (when we could get her attention) and at one stage we saw her drop a straw on the floor right in front of the table and then pop it back into the glass and serve it to the unsuspecting customer! She wasn't even subtle about it. The decor is also starting to look a bit tired although the view is still as amazing as always....not really anything to do with the restaurant though.

I don't like seafood, but we had to go here for a work Christmas do, and the food was lovely. Everyone ended up getting these great big platters of seafood to share and we were unadventurous and only got posh fish and chips. It was lovely. The views are great, but beware it can be cold walking down to the end of the pier to get there.

Was disappointed with the food and the service the night we went here. Nothing seemed to go smoothly. Meals came at different times and wine took ages tom hit the table after ordering

Nice location, the waitress was really friendly. I enjoyed my meal it was very yummy! The fish tank was really good and the atmosphere was really lovely.

This is a great restaurant in a great location. the seafood is always of high quality and prepared well. It is a little overpriced as you can get a similar meal at other locations for a fair bit less but the location does make up for some of this price. Overall we couldn't fault the experience though :)
