We were here for a function, so had a function menu which included around 5 different choices of dish.
The choices varied wildly in quality. The fish choice was battered in beer batter which was so overpowering and puffy that we called it a 'fish-flavoured donut'.
The pastas were so delicious, and got great compliments. The steaks, apparently, tasted like lumps of foam cut from a thong or boogie board.
The dessert was supposed to be chocolates, and came out as little el-cheapo chocolate lollies wrapped in coloured silver foil, which looked like they were sourced from a bulk lolly or $2 store.

The service was very hit and miss, and for example, when the after lunch tea and coffee came out, it came out in sporadic rounds, and the last coffees weren't even sent to the table by the time 2/3 of the tables had finished their drinks.

This place was chosen because the person booking their function loved their food so much, and I have heard from multiple people that Sandrinos does amazing italian. However, this function occurred in their new location, and I am guessing that whilst they have been expanding, they haven't been taking enough care about quality control.

I would suggest that you go to sandrino's for a small dinner, but skip it for a function, as they do not have the support and quality control in place to make the experience a great one as yet.

This place is great located at Fremantle. Location is great near to the market and Rydges Hotel where we stayed. Prices were reasonable and the food was great! It gets packed on weekends and even on weekdays. I overheard the pizza was great. I had the Specials on the day- which is the grilled Baramundi fish with crab meat wrapped with lettuce, finished off with a cup of hot chocolate for the night. Good ambiance and service!

These guys are great! Everytime i go to Sandrinoos I leave stuffed! Their pastas are delicious- as are their pizzas. Their cocktails have had much more thought involved than most restaurants. The quality of food is evident in the cooking- delicious! For this quality of food in Perth, the price is reasonable. The service could use some work- however this is really dependant on who you get. Some staff are extremely highly trained however some of the younger ones have a little way to go. Overall, I would- and do - go back regularly

Sandrinos is in a great location and the service is quite good. That being said, during the summer it is quite hot and unpleasant inside and the quality of food is okay.

VEry reasonably priced for a great restaurant dinning experience. The sauce on my chicken was absolutely divine, I wiped up every drop of that sauce with my chips. Filling serves as well. Great place to sit back, have a great meal and watch the busy freo nights.

Wood fired pizza is slightly on the high end of the price list. Nice location, good menu choices. Definitely a great addition to Fremantles italian scene.

sandrino's is in the centre of fremantle and a must experience. big servings of delicious food at reasonable cost
