Great location. Cheapest place to park would be at Star City casino $15 for the day, otherwise I believe membership allows for closer discounted parking. Gets very busy in school holidays, so if you are able to go during the week you will enjoy if much more. Love the area at the end where you can watch the aquarium wall and listen to relaxing music. Avoid bringing your pram if possible and try to do Wildlife World next door on the same day for discounted entry.

Approximate cost: $20

First time to this aquarium and it was pretty good. Nothing made the WOW factor but was interesting all the same. Sharks swimming overhead was the best part.

Approximate cost: $40

This place is one of the best aquariums in the world. There is a huge variety and it's clear the animals are treated well. When Finding Nemo was in cinemas and just released on dvd, they had a special tank with creatures from the movie. They should definitely bring this back. There are huge underwater walkways to see sharks, colourful fish, and even dugongs. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. My favourite is the jellyfish. They look spectacular in the dark.

I took my nephews here last holidays, we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
They had such a huge variety of displays and the kids especially loved the interactive ones, where they got a chance to touch some of the animals.
The glass bottomed boat was an amazing experience, especially when we looked down and there was a great big shark underfoot
My tip would be to book online and not but tickets at the door, that way you can save a bit if money.

The aquarium is very kid friendly, but even as an adult I like the place where you can touch everything! :)
