I spent 3 hours here this morning in order to leave with very smart hair foils and an expensive blow wave but no haircut as the cutter didn’t turn up in spite of several overheard phone calls. His behaviour was rude and unprofessional and I won’t be going back.

Came in to get a blow wave by Frederica a new Italian girl and a colour and I have never found such an amazing hair dressing salon , great staff so friendly i am defintley becoming a regular here !
It has taken me so long to find a hair dressing salon and I can honestly say all of the staff were great help to accomodate my needs !!

I had full head of foils done at one of the hair salons in but the hairdresser did not put a toner on my hair so I left the salon with undone bluish blonde color. Next day I went to the Second Ave salon because it simply was the first salon I've seen. Asked if they can fix the color. Sam the owner of the salon did amazing job by putting the right toner to fix the color, plus made my dark roots lighter so they were not that obvious in contrast with blonde.I am really happy and would go there again to check how they will do my foils!

I've been going to Second Avenue on and off for a few years. I went there the other day for a blow wave and now have no idea why I don't go there every time. The girls are lovely and my blow wave was stunning. I've been very happy when I've had my highlights and cuts done there as well. Iris is especially great!!

Amazing salon!i had been there for hair straightening(relaxer) 8 weeks back.hair dresser by name sonia treated my hair.She is simply wonderful,listened to my needs carefully and did a lovely job beyond my expectation.Saw the review for eyebrows on womow and just dropped in to get it done.but i was simply amazed to see the hairdressers doing a great job when i was seated there.that is how i decided to get my hair done.Sonia was so patient enough.at first i was not that happy so after i came home i called her and told i'm not liking my hair.She asked me to come the next day and redid the service without any charge.This time my hair looked absolutely stunning:)i would like to be a loyal customer of second avenue for all my hair do's....thanks Sonia

I usually go in for an eyebrow waxing - just fabulous and beautifully done! With $12 for eye brow waxing service, it is very well priced and very reasonable too! I will always come back for more!

I went in for a half head of blonde foils on my regrowth, I told the stylist I wanted to got a little bit lighter, a light ash blonde. 3 hours later, my hair had been darkened to my natural light-mid brown colour with a few tiny blonde highlights scattered throughout. After telling them I was not happy and that it was nothing like that I asked for the salon offered to fix it the day for free. After another 2 hours in the salon I now have golden blonde highlights through my hair, still nothing liked I described OR like the photo I took in the second time. Not happy!! At least the cut is decent.
