This place is absolutely amazing and well worth every penny spent. My partner and I save each and every year to come and spend one week of pure bliss hidden away in the tree tops escaping the ho hum of our daily life, and there is no better way than secrets. George and aldy are fantastic they are there but not there you very rarely see them yet every morning there is lovely breakfast hamper paled full of delicious goodies left on the door step. there is plenty to get out and do and plety to stay in and do to. The cabins are absolutely gorgeous.

I cant say enough praise for this place. treehouses are a must for a special occassion. sunshine hinterland, peace and quiet. fantastic homestyle service. ive made it an item to save all year to spend the weekend for my birthday. the atmosphere, views of the lake and wildlife are exceptional. we fed the possums bananas on the balcony and met russell the crow who knocked his beak on our glass balcony door and the kitchen window when we didnt know what the noise was and fed him some breads. the welcome hamper is so full of goodies for snacks and breakfast. the warm croissants are left at your door each morning with a tap on the door, the staff are there but unobtrusive so you feel like you're the only ones there, the carvings on the room doors and the walkways are stunning, umbrellas are at the door and logs for the fire are just outside. the spa and the balcony swing chair i want to take home. you can order any service form massages to meat baskets for the barbie. you just dont want to leave.pity we had to. its been my thing for 3 years now. the showers are extraordinary ,you can fit a roosters footy team in them ( i wish) so huge and the penthouse platypus room you can see outside through a glass small window in the shower. george and his wife have an awesome property and have just added a gorgeous cafe, you really dont have to leave for anything. pricey but well worth the expense, say no to a 5 star motel and try the treehouses at montville, you wont be disappointed

Approximate cost: $700

these "must do" treehouses are a little slice of heaven.
i have made this my birthday treat each year and I started 3 years ago.
i cant praise this place enough. the treehouse rooms are so quiet and abundant with wild life, we fed the possums on the balcony at night whislt on the swing chair, they ome right up to you if you quiet and gentle and feed them bananas from your hamper you get on arrival, hand fed a crow named russell who knocks on your kitchen or balcony window/door.ever so funny. they have added anew cafe so you dont have to wander far,not that you would ever want to. a weekend stay with spa, wood carved doors and windows, led lights, mood music, a shower big enough for the whole rooster footy team(i wish)and breakfast of croissants brought to your room warm each morning. the hamper is brilliant and you can order all sorts of things like massages , food bbq meat to cook on the small barbie on the balcony. the views are awesome of the lakes the bush and surroundings. the staff are on hand but unobtrusive, nothing is a problem for them. it is pricey but for a special ocassion its well worth it. we have stayed in a lizard room and the playtpus penthouse. its ever so serene .clean fresh and you can go on beautiful quiet walks to the lake or in the gardens. the time goes way too fast and you dont want to leave, check it out. im a big fan of the place. george and his wife own the treehouses and property and are such lovely people

Absolutely stunning. Cottages are nestled in the foliage and wooden bridges connect some together. Loads of work has gone into this place. It is discrete and welcoming. A magic stay for a magic area.
