Came here for the weekend for lunch. That pork shoulder thing they have going is awesome! It's definitely worth the wait.

I enjoy coming here regularly not just for the wine, but the setting. There's a lake behind it all that's absolutely beautiful and you can just spend hours here drinking wine and gazing over the property. Love it when the ducks are around

This is such a beautiful relaxing place to go for lunch or dinner, landscaped gardens, huge old gum trees, very large lake with many geese. Their wine is outstanding, not to mention the restaurant. My husband and I went here for a romantic lunch earlier this year and I have to say it is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. My husband had his usual steak and I normally stick with chicken - which was wrapped in proscuitto - beautifully presented. What I like about their meals is, they suggest which wine goes best with each meal, it makes it a lot easier. The restaurant is very stylish and the staff were very friendly and quick with serving our meals. We were impressed, it is a bit expensive, but worth it. For us, it will be special ocassions. Haven't stayed here, as we live only 20 minutes away. We didn't have anything to complain about, it was a fabulous romantic restaurant with delicious food. Definitely recommend.

Stayed there one night, room clean and very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was amazing, one of the best meals I have had ever, Seared Tuna and Sesame Roasted Prawns was tasty, the Char Grilled Beef Fillet with gratin potatoes was so well presented and I didn't need a steak knife, melt in your mouth, OMG. Service very good, breakfast was in restaurant, the best meal and accommodation I have had for a long time. The geese and their babies roaming the grounds and the wine tasting and buying of their Moscata and Olive Oil, made the whole experience perfect. I couldn't fault one single thing.

I visited for lunch with a group. We pre-ordered and service was very quick, however the lamb that I ordered was a bit tough. The caramelised filled pudding accompanying it was divine, however! Everyone else was happy with their meals so perhaps it was just bad luck. Was also disappointed that the view was blocked by a parked tourist van.

One of my favourite places. Shame it changed names - McLaren's on the Lake had such a romantic ring to it.
Nonetheless, have stayed here, dined here and done some wine tasting here. The rooms are fine. Nice but not fabulous. The meals were really good. Delicious and the service great.
As for the cellar door, they have a wonderful fortified shiraz which keeps me coming back time and again.

We got married here and had a wonderful day. Nothing was too hard and there was so much stuff included in our package that it made organising the day really easy.

Visit the Restaurant - The food, the service, the location, and the price was all great.
