Unprofessional and waste of time.
Signed contract and handed over thousands of dollars deposit after being told should be only a few weeks to start job.
No communication for 51 days(90 day contract), decided to email company for update- waited 10 days without reply before phoning.
Finally spoke to [redacted name], said he would call back a couple of days later to discuss start date, never heard back.
Received generic email after 76 days from start of contract advising delay, and [redacted name] would contact us – never happened.
Did not trust their word now, had to wait 90 days for contract to finish otherwise I would forfeit the deposit.

Felt trapped that company would not do job but would lose deposit if I went elsewhere to actually have roof repaired.
Did not seem interested in starting the works or speaking with the customer while holding their money.
Received deposit refund back promptly after sending message when contract expired.
Sent complaint to management shortly after, over month now and no response.

-No communication, $$$ lighter for 90 days, and no new roof
Very disappointed, start again….

Work Required and delivered:
Galvanised iron roof replacement with colourbond (house and unattached garage) ; replacement of guttering ; redirecting down-pipes ; partial fascia replacement; shared guttering replacement (duplex)

Comments: Roof repairs of this magnitude is fraught with potential problems and getting a trustworthy and professional contractor will minimise the stress involved. Robert came within 24 to inspect of my call and organised a quote which was forthcoming within 24 hours after that. Roof Seal had already been contacted, and had visited to gather background for the quote (although I waited 1 week, Roof Seal did not provide a quote once they knew that Shamrock were competing, even though Roof Seal were offering 33% discount as a TV offer at the time).
Upon paying a modest deposit (approx $2k), work commenced as arranged 3 weeks later (rain unavoidably did delay completion of other jobs so our wait was slightly longer, but that was no big deal).
The team who undertook the work were friendly, courteous professional, and happy to explain what they were doing. They were also attentive to our questions and special requests, and accommodated us without fuss or complaint.
The work including cleanup was completed inside of 3 working days, to our total satisfaction.
The office admisitrative staff were also terrific, coordinating and communicating between Rob, the field team and ouselves. In all, I can honestly say that we could not be happier with the result, nor with the cost which under the circumstances was what our home budget demanded.

roof tiles replace with colorbond steel new gutters and downpipes on two sections of house. the guys who came out were fantastic and reliable. before i had roof replaced it was leaking badly then shamrock came out and replaced with colorbond havent had a problem since! would reccommend to everybody

Re-roofing and guttering work. They were slow to begin the job and once they eventually completed it there was unfinished work. I had to keep chasing them up via phone calls to come and complete the job and fix up what they hadn't done properly. They kept saying they would come out and never did. They also included "clean up" of materials on the quote and they left some of their rubbish here. Very unreliable and poor communication. Not happy and won't be using them again.

Shamrock Roofing Corporation is a fantastic roofing company. They had a person that did our roof which he knew what he was doing. We had done a brand new colour bond aluminum roof.We were very satisfied with the work that was carried out.
