Started out great with the first few phone conversations re. the system that came with the house. Then it rapidly deteriorated (we needed someone to come out and explain how the system worked)....which they said they do. I asked 4 weeks in advance to lock in the day after settlement, the consultant said he would call me 2 weeks prior to set an appointment....didnt happen. I called them week before settlement.....consultant was away, arranged appointment for week after settlement with another consultant. Day before that was supposed to happen they called and cancelled because they had a business that had an urgent matter. This was early Tuesday afternoon, our appointment was late wed afternoon. If the matter was so urgent for the business, surely it would have been fixed Tues afternoon! Our appointment rescheduled again for the next week. They called to cancel AGAIN because their tech was sick. Surely there is more than ONE tech working there?? I was not happy and expressed that to the original consultant whose excuse was he had just returned after sick leave (which, by the timeline would have been 3 weeks). If someone is sick for 3 weeks in a large business with clients they say they want to keep, then someone else would be allocated their clients. Appointment rescheduled AGAIN! Eventually, the tech came and explained the system (the tech was good). There were many empty apologies etc etc, the most upsetting part was they left an elderly sick woman without a way to change the alarm codes, and it seemed that they could not care less about all the time I had to take off work to accommodate their many appointment changes. The impression I am left with is that this company does not care less about you if you are a residential customer. I would not recommend them to anyone because of those attitudes

I chose Signal Security to install my home security system after being robbed in late 2015. I spoke with Justin who was understanding of my situation and ensured my house would be covered so it was safe. Jeff came out and installed the system. Hamish was always courteous, taking the time to go that extra step with advice and being helpful with explaining the components of the security system being recommended. He was prompt with quoting and getting back to me when I had further queries. I have no hesitation in recommending Signal Security to anyone wanting to deal with a reliable and reputable security firm.

I wanted a security system to protect my new home as it had been messed with during the build. I spoke to Hamish who explained the different options as found one just right for what I needed. I love that I can use the app to arm/disarm the system. The installation was meticulous and you can hardly notice the sensors. The cctv system was demonstrated and explained. A great company and I would highly recommend them.

Jeff was very pleasant, quick with the installation and he worked very cleanly. There was a minimal mess to clean up afterwards but only what was expected.

I would also like to mention Justin, who came out and assessed the system I would need and he was extremely helpful guiding me in the right direction of what was required and he was also very pleasant.

And of course I spoke to Erin on the phone who was most helpful with my installation booking.

Overall my experience with Signal has been exceptional and for that I say Thank you very much as my previous experiences with Alarm companies has not been very good at all.

I just kept my land line phone because I had a monitored alarm system but now I upgraded to wireless monitoring. I will get rid of my phone line now that my alarm doesn't require it anymore.
The installation process was simple and now I can turn my system on with my phone, whilst at work when my cleaners forget to turn the alarm on when they leave my home.

I was burgled and I needed an alarm really quickly as I didn't feel safe in my own home. I spoke with Signal and someone came to see me on the same day. I got a wireless system installed which was finished in a couple of hours.

I've always kept the land line in my home just for the alarm. I asked Signal if I could get rid of my phone line but still keep my alarm monitoring service and they said yes. I now have a smart phone app which I can control my alarm system on, its been so handy to have.

I love the smart phone app on which allows me to turn my alarm on when I'm at work or on holidays. The amount of times it has saved me having to drive back home when I'm at work, well I've lost count.

I highly recommend Signal Security and their new wireless monitoring service. I recently upgraded the monitoring at all of my skincare clinics. I absolutely love the remote arming app that they set up on my Iphone. This means I “never” have to drive to a clinic if the team forgets to turn on the alarm at night as I can now do it from the comfort and safety of my home. Such a time saver as I have clinics all over Melbourne.
