The first purchase I made from Silkies Rose Farm was actually for 100 English box hedge plants. It took me 2 trips to get them home in my small hatchback and they graciously allowed me to return after their normal closing time for my second trip.
Since then, I've bought a few roses for myself and a few for gifts. I love the newsletter and acquired one of my favourite roses due to it - the green rose. I emailed Diana immediately after reading about it and asked her to put one aside for me. I still have some space in my garden and look forward to filling it with more roses from Silkies Rose Farm.

An exceptional family business - every rose I have purchased from Diana and Graham in Clonbinane has been strong and healthy. The nursery boasts fantastic variety and the advice provided on rose selection and care is excellent. The organic rose management plan in place at the nursey is particularily impressive. This really is one of the best places in Australia to purchase your roses.

I've ordered bare-rooted roses from Silkies for the last two winters and have nothing but praise for their quality. The plants establish quicker than those I have obtained elsewhere and produce beautiful blooms in their first spring flowering. By summer and autumn, they are really off and running, with blooms galore and healthy foliage. The organic products recommended by Diana and Gra keep black spot and other problems at bay. And if you want to give your entire garden a lift, try a light sprinkling of rock dust; the results are amazing!

After two wonderful deliveries of roses for my new mountain garden, I opened my third and was disappointed. One rose was not up to previous standard, the other three were fine. To Diana's credit she offered to send me another without my asking. A spectacular blooming specimen soon arrived in the post. Well done Diana! This customer will certainly be back!

Diana was very helpful and understanding as I wanted to order flowers to give to my family members after the passing of a loved one. She made everything easy and sent the flowers that day which was most appreciated.Flowers arrived in good condition and I can't wait to give them to my family.

Silkie Rose Nursery Never disappoints. We have been buying our roses there for many years and recently moved to a new home. We were sad to say goodbye to some of our precious roses (some made the trip) but new where to go to purchase more. Our new home was in desperate need of rose planting so a trip to Silkies was required. We wanted to create a circular garden in our driveway with white roses around a water feature and Diana suggested Winchester Cathedral. We ordered 20 bare rooted and planted around August 2015. Diana suggested to feed weekly with eco seaweed and we would have flowers by November. As promised we had an abundance of roses and they've been flowering consistently for the passed 4 mths. We couldn't be happier with the quality of our roses and advice given. Thank you Diana for always goes above and beyond and sharing the love of roses with us fellow rose lovers.

I just wanted to thank you for the great service I received recently. Not only did you give me good advice when selecting a clematis to go with my Pierre de Ronsard climbing rose, but you also went well beyond my expectations when delivering the pillar to my home. It was with great surprise to see Graham on the doorstep the very day I placed the phone order. The logistics to get the pillar in my car and then once home to get it into position would have posed some issues for me, if indeed I could get it in my car in the first place.

Anyway, just wanted to express my gratitude to you both for going out of your way to deliver the pillar. I took some photos this morning to show you how it looks in its new home.

I adore this nursery as their variety of Delbard roses is extensive. I have purchased many roses from Silkies and they all arrive extremely healthy, great for gifts. I especially like their website which makes ordering very easy together with all the helpful hints.
