I've been doing up my front garden and wanted some gorgeous standard roses for both the beds out there. I had heard of Silkies so I looked them up and dropped by. Their roses are stunning and SO healthy.

I was also given some very sage rose-care advice by a lovely lady there.

I ordered some roses (2 standards) as a gift for a friend from Silkies Rose Farm and the service was exceptional. The whole garden world was foreign to me and Diana from Silkies was so friendly and was there to answer all my questions. She gave some really good advice and was able to accommodate all the delivery requests that I had (delivery time, date, etc.).
The roses were delivered without fail and they were beautiful! My friend was very happy and said the roses were just lovely!

We like roses so when we saw, as we drove by this wonderful display of roses we had to stop and take a closer look. The staff are experts and helped us plan our rose garden. After which we retired to a delightful cafe for coffee and eats on the premises. Perfect.

I have been going to the Rose Cafe at the Silkie Gardens for years. The cafe overlooks their extensive rose garden, and has beautiful artwork of roses inside. The little cottage turned cafe is cute and the staff are all very welcoming. Their food is excellent and well priced, and they are child friendly supplying baby seat and a little box of toys in the corner for kids to play with. Dogs on leads are allowed outside and I always take my kids up the back of the rose garden to visit the silkie chickens before we go home. Highly recommend.

Wonderful staff, their knowledge about roses is vast, their stock is super quality, the range of roses huge and it is my favourtie place to go. The cafe is excellent with friendly service, good food and you can bring your dog(s) for the outside area. My dog loves going there as she always gets a pat from staff and fresh drinking water.
