Simon diagnosed the fault with our 1997 Brivis EMS26 system quickly and methodically. At first look I was ready to buy a new Controller, as it did not power up and the fan stayed on. Simon found the fault lay with the Control PCB which had been shorted out by ants. He then replaced the board, cleaned and serviced the unit, ran a Monoxide test, and refitted and reprogrammed our old controller, A less experienced person would have told us that the unit was old and needed replacing and left us with a new heater and a large bill, I am very grateful that we still have people like Simon with the knowledge, experience and desire to do the right thing by their customers

I was given Simon's number by the local heating and cooling business as I wanted the evaporative cooling system checked and a run-through on how to use it after moving in. He was very patient and gave the information I needed. I've just called him back after 13 months to attend to a minor fault. He's very reliable and always gets back in touch as soon as possible. Down-to-earth and genuine, always a good vibe - I never wonder if I'm being ripped off the way you can feel with some trades people. He also seems fairly priced compared to the service guys we used at our previous home.
I don't hesitate to recommend him and will be calling on him with any heating and cooling issues in the future.

I was given Simon's details by a different company I called from Womo (Efficient Air, Monbulk). Our ducted heating had started making an odd noise on the coldest night of the year. Simon booked me in for his first available appointment, and advised me that I was still able to use the heating in the meantime. He called the night before the booking to confirm a time, and called again when he was on the way so we didn't waste all day sitting around waiting. He efficiently serviced our Pyrox heater, fixed the annoying noise, checked all the ducts and filters and was able to advise on and fit a new modern thermostat at our request too.
Simon was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. There was a set fee for the callout and service ($180), the only extra charges were for the parts ($200 for the thermostat).

Our Omega ducted heating system was not working, it needed a service and motor replacement. Simon also showed us how to clean our filter/air vent to better care for our system. We appreciated this, because another professional told us it could not be cleaned and should be replaced. He explained everything clearly, was very friendly, prompt and professional. Being the peak of winter, we had to wait a few days until he was available, but it was worth waiting for someone so professional and reliable. We were happy with the price, and will definitely make Simkat our first call for future heating service or repair.
