The cupcakes at Sparkle Cupcakery are really nice, they are not dry. My favourite is the coconut one. Considering it is hard to find a good cupcake, makes this place a real gem.

The most delish cupcakes i have ever tasted! They melt in your mouth and it is a serious addiction!!
The staff are lovely and also make a wicked Hot Chocolate or coffee of your choice!
Also love the packaging they use to put the cupcakes in, so sleek and sexy!

My husband ordered cupcakes for Valentines, for delivery prior to 3pm, as I finish work at 3.30pm. When there was no delivery by 2pm my hubby rang the store. They told him they would be here in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes there was still no delivery. So he followed up again, and they advised that they would find out what was going on with the delivery. I stayed at work until 4.30pm waiting for the delivery, as every time (4 times) he called, they would make a call to the courier (I suppose), to check on the delivery. I left at 4.30 with no cupcakes (and a sad face on Valentines).
The next day my hubby again rang them, because he had spent $80 on cupcakes with them, and still no cupcakes had arrived. It took a further 2 phone calls, and half the day, to advise him that they didnt know what happened, but that his order had not come through to them, despite him being charged $80.
Instead of advising that in the first place (on Valentines), they let it drag on for over a day.
The whole experience left both he and I upset. Sparkle offered to refund the money, but they did not offer to ensure delivery or anything. I suppose there was no offer of Goodwill, which was disappointing.

Approximate cost: $5

I am really sorry for your experience, that is very disappointing. Sparkle Cupcakery did not handle the situation well at all, I will probably never use them now based on your review alone. They really should have been more helpful, more apologetic and offer some gesture of goodwill for stuffing up your Valentine's Day.

That is really sad to hear, I feel bad for you and your husband. Sparkles really should have handled this situation better, especially if they want to retain customers.

I have been to Sparkle twice in a week. I am so in love with the shop, the vibe, the food and the drinks!
My girlfriends and i have turned it into our new meeting place and we all have so many problems trying to decide on what to have each time because everything is SO good.
At the moment my favourite cupcake is the banana and toffee and ive been having the mocha ever since the girl working there proclaimed she "makes the best mochas in Surry Hills".
Never had any problems with parking, only problem is Sparkles is no longer a secret!

quite expensive, but if you're in the mood for a little self indulgence it is a beautiful cafe with an amazing variety of cupcakes and nice coffee. excellent presentation and flavours

The cupcakes here are lush. Amazing flavours, moist cake and delicious frosting. They have a gluten free cupcake every day also for those with gluten or wheat intolerance. This cafe is also licensed and it feels very decadent to have champagne with your cupcake.

Approximate cost: $4.50
