Sparkling star detailing did an excellent job on my black RAV4 in which the paint started to look dull and the headlights where yellow.. after the complete package my car is shiny like never before and my head lights are crystal clear!

Sparking Star detailed my newly purchased Triton. The detailer was meant to arrive at 2pm however turned up after 3pm after a couple of phone calls. By the time the job was finished it was dark and the car was in my garage.

Upon inspection the next day the job was terrible – wheels were still dirty, windows not clean, under and behind seats not vacuumed, air vents had grime on them, bugs still splatted all over the front bar just to name a few.

When I called the detailer to come back he gave me a time of 11am. Called him at 11.45 and was told that I needed to understand that he had customers (not sure what I was?) 11 am was a time given to me, not the other way around! I had taken a day to work from home so that the issue could be fixed.

When he finally arrived at 4.30pm there was lots of excuses and even though I showed him clearly what I was not happy with, most were not fixed even after the second pass. The final straw was when he was done and I showed him the back window was still filthy. “Mate, what is this a show car?” was the response, followed by “that’s as good as it gets”. Clearly hewas not interested in fixing anything and when he left I got out my own window cleaner and within one pass had the paper towel loaded with dirt!

I went down to the auto store, spent $100 on products and then started the job again. Worst $250 I’ve ever spent!

P.S. There are lots of things not included in the complete package such as cleaning the ute tray, rego sticker residue.

I am very satisfied with the detailing done to my 2013 Toyota Hilux, these guys took time and care which proved to be an overall quality service for such good value. I had water come inside the car from a small flood and the shampoo vacuum performed by sparkling star detailing removed all the stains leaving it smelling like a new car again!
