I've come here a few times now for breakfast. It's a comfy cafe which also allows dogs in it's outside area.
Service is ok, not the best but the food is brought out pretty quick and tastes great. I love the bircher muesli and will be going back to try the breakfast bruschetta. I would say the pricing is average, what you would normally expect to pay at a cafe. It's a nice cafe in a good location.

They use to have one of these at Garden City but it's gone now so it's great to know of another one nearby. Thanks

Spoon is a nice cafe that is relaxing and is a good place to have breakfast. They have a good range of food that will suit everyone. The price is satisfactory and the location is good.

We have always enjoyed breakfast at Spoon (our local cafe) for the range of foods, and brekky dishes done well. The coffee is lovely and even though the line up for a morning brew can be long, they churn them out quickly! Service is always friendly and welcoming.
Lunching at Spoon we have found the food a little more average. The cakes and freshly baked muffins however are yet to disappoint.
A nice casual venue for a decent brekky and delicious coffee served with a smile!

I like the layout of Spoon in East Brisbane, and it's great that it's there, as there is not a lot of cafes in the area.

Their coffee's a pretty good and come out pretty fast.

Their cakes and slices are all pretty tasty.

I've only eaten there once, for breakfast, and the "Big breakfast" was a little disappointing. The eggs were well poached, but the rest of it was all fairly bland. The milkshake I had as well tasted sugary and wasn't brilliant.

I'll keep getting coffee's from there, but I think the food is a bit overpriced for what it is and i'll stick to making breakfast at home.

I had burger and shake here. Both are quite tasty. Usually burger is not my cup of tea, but I enjoyed the burger here - with fresh veggies, a big patty would not be greasy.

Approximate cost: $23

A great place to meet up with friends, casual, low key, nothing fancy food, just a great cafe! Beware of the lycra on a Sunday morning!
