Writing to warn others not to purchase a car from Ben at elbright motors. Terrible experience with complete lies right from the start. Similar story to others who have left a review, very lucky that we looked up the reviews before we purchased a car. I feel terrible for the people that paid this guy money, purchase a vehicle somewhere else!
Stay away from this business and the owner (Ben Liano) Got Absolutely terrible reply when inquiring i inquire about a car he posted on facebook for sale. He is a mental sycophant. Very aggressive and abusing.

I bought an old Volvo 240. We put a temporary certificate on to drive it back to NSW. The car made it and when I got back had no problem getting a blue slip and registering he vehicle. I have had it for 4 years now and it still runs. I have had to do the odd repair but it is more reliable than a car I paid 10 times the amount for.
I really think getting used cars is just a matter of luck.

My partner and I don't drive very much, so we decided to buy a used car. We purchased a small hatchback from these people, and paid $500 for it to be made roadworthy. Imagine our horror when we sent it for a service about a week after we received it, and our mechanic informed us that it was not roadworthy and in fact, unsafe to be driven before about $4500 in repairs had been made to it! The dealer tried to claim that our mechanic was cheating us, that he had been cheated by his mechanics and so on and so forth. Finally, when we threatened legal action, he capitulated and agreed to refund us our money. We hope that this happens soon and that no one else has to go through this nightmare!
EDIT: We never got our money back, he agreed to send the car to a third-party, reputable mechanic to get the RWC done, but we didn't get a certificate, or receipts, or descriptions of the work done despite requesting them numerous times. To sum up - a charlatan and horrible man, don't deal with him!

We only want to assist anyway we can as it has been 10 years I was not aware of this issue or you web sight until recently we would like to find out what has happened so that it will not happen again.
As you have refused us the wright to see any documentation we can only assume you allocations to be complete lies and not true.
As a reliable and successful dealer with hundreds of happy customers we believe your untrue unproven allocations to be slandering our good name and only ask that you withdraw your comments.
I will not withdraw my review or comments as they are all entirely true.
You are clearly a different St Elbright Motors to the one mentioned in this review, so all you'd need to do is contact WOMO to let them know that your business is different to this one. Instead you are wasting both your time and mine by harrassing me.
I have now made an official complaint to WOMO about your behaviour. Cease your harrassment right away as it just makes your business look even worse.
