Wouldn’t recommend this place no doctor calls you for your phone appointment and when you call them they tell you the doctor tried calling you but you where engaged, this has happened to me 3 times.It looks like to me there scamming the system

This clinic is perfect IF you can get an appointment when you need it. When I had an urgent need of a doctor I was told I had to wait 4 days for an appointment! I want to be treated by a doctor who will make time to see me when I need it.

Sadly the reception staff who are the gatekeepers of the practice were not free or qualified to judge the urgency of my case and would not speak to the doctors on my beyto facilitate an urgent appointment.

I am looking for a practice where patients with urgent needs are prioritised.

The receptionist at the front desk did not care to even listen and understand what I was brought in for and sent me down to sit in the waiting area. Everyone before me and everyone after me went into their appointments and when I went to the front desk to ask when I would be going in, she said she didn’t alert the nurse I was waiting. Finally she looked for the paperwork that had been waiting for me at the front desk and alerted the nurse. I waited in the waiting room for almost two hours without service.

I have been visiting the St Kilda Super Clinic for many years, and have always, without exception, been treated very well, by reception staff, and of course the Doctors. Being a Bulk Billed Clinic (no fee charged), it is on occasion busy and that’s understandable. But the standard of care is still excellent. The Clinic reception area is cheerful and bright too, having had a complete decor makeover in recent times. We are lucky to live in Australia where health care is readily available and affordable. In many places in the world it is not.

I have been going to this clinic for about 10 years now & now I am living in Geelong I still travel up to Melbourne to go here. The front receptionists are patient, polite and professional. Dr Soffer is absolutely amazing. He has been so supportive and kind over the years. I highly recommend this clinic and its one of the few doctors clinics that still bulk bill. Thank you for being there for me.

athetic clinic with poor customer service staff at reception ( absolute lack of sympathy), and doctors refusing to see patients. My mother was suffering from pneumonia and we came in specifically to see a shrilankan doctor ( Anusha) and she refused to see us for the rest of the day simply because we were a few minutes late. I explained to her that my mother was specifically asked to see her and was not able to walk up quickly due to her illness but she simply refused. Pathetic view to patient care. Still waiting after 1.5 hours to see the next available Doctor. Anusha ( I was told later by reception) has to pick up her child so she has to leave each day between working hours and cannot be flexible with her patients. Absolutely pathetic level of patient care and sympathy shown.

I have been going to this clinic for a number of years now and have found all the doctors to be [redacted clinical content], and if need be they refer you to a specialist in the case where it is more serious. I have never had a doctor be rude to me and have felt satisfied [redacted clinical content]. Also I have never had to wait any more than 20 minutes to see a doctor there. This clinic is a very busy one and if you require an appointment ring the day before and you'll get one, otherwise be prepared to wait for a long wait if you walk in off the street because the patients with appointments will come first unless its an emergency. So to all out there who complain about the service, I am a satisfied customer..

Do NOT go hear unless u have time to burn, 4 doctors on duty - had an appointment made previous day - -2 Hours LATE !!!!!!!
And no update from reception- so so bad !!
There are other better run clinics .
Previous time I left a feedback form but I had no reply or response - just not interested in being accountable for their poor management.

I don't recommend this clinic at all. I felt like they are more interested in getting through as many people in a short space of time as possible rather than making sure that the patient had all their concerns addressed. Btw a long appointment is 15 minutes. I had made 1 regular appointment to discuss what I was there for, then 2 long appointments for 2 different tests (which is understandable) and I was told I needed another appointment to discuss anything else as the appointment was about to run overtime, and I would have to go back again for the results. Ridiculous. One good thing is I felt the doctor was very knowledgeable. I rarely see a doctor so I would only go there if you want a quick in and out appointment rather than one where you had questions or had a few niggling problems. I ended up sending my results to another clinic as I don't like feeling like a number. Maybe this is typical of bulk billing places but I certainly have never come across any clinic like this before. I think its pretty disgraceful.

After reading the reviews I was worried about visiting this doctor. However when I arrived I realised that like most bulk billing places they are simply ran off their feet. Phone lines constantly buzzing. People at the desk. And people here complain because they hang up quickly? They are doing a great job!
