the atmosphere is really good- tavern like, crowded and noisy, usually with big tables. There is live music on the weekends also. the food though, is only ok- ok value, ok taste. I remember steki from years ago and i must say i was disappointed. Nowadays there is too much competition. I dont think i will be returning

I went to this greek taverna on a weekday for dinner & had one of their banquet meals. The food was delicious & there was so much of it! Just when we thought we were too full to eat anymore another meal would come out. The service was very friendly. I am looking forward to coming back on a weekend when the music & dancing happens.

We have been to Steki's several times now, with groups from as little as 4 to around 20+ people and the food and service have been overwhelming. The banquet has so much food, but so well time delayed. The live music is the highlight of the night with all diners invited to dance and even the owner getting up for a dance. A really great night is guaranteed!

Visited the Steki Taverna (just off King St) for a friends Birthday dinner and it was a great venue. The food did take a little while to come out, but the inhouse entertainment was fantastic. The music was great and they did put on a good show, the servings were very generous however i found that the Slow Cooked Lamb required a side dish otherwise it was simply too much meat on its own to eat properly. All of the other dishes at the table looked fantastic, the breads and dips were tops and id definitely visit again in the future.
