Review of StewArt Media 2a Lionel Rd Mt Waverley, VIC. 3149 I am posting this review because I could not find any reviews online for StewArt Media. The short story is that I have found dealing with them to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had as a customer. Would I recommend them, no, no and No! And here are some of the reasons why. Firstly, I will say the person who produces the regular youtube videos, is no doubt very knowledgeable and if that person was working on my account I probably would have been very happy. That was my 1st mistake, of course the person in youtube may be one of the best in the business but that does not mean the people who work for that person are, this person did not work on my account but the people this person employs did, and their knowledge and experience could not be more different. StewArt Media have a few positive scrolling reviews on their website, not many, not all are credited, one says CEO but do not say what company. They are largely worthless. The positive reviews on their website suggest that within a very short period of time SEO results improved dramatically to first page of Google and similar. After 4 months with them I found very little improvement and certainly nowhere near page one. One of their sales people is very convincing, talked a lot about how they are dedicated to good ROI and I signed up for an initial 3 months at a cost of $3746, which is a lot of money compared to what I can get from international suppliers through odesk and similar but I decided to give a Aussie company the chance to prove they are better that far cheaper international suppliers. The 1st thing is that they did not listen. I have been a successful fulltime magician for 20 years, I know who my customers are, how they contact me and what the sales process is. I had to battle with my contact with them as they were trying to steer me into a process that I know does not work and where I did not want to go. They just were not listening and would not accept what I had to say, it was very frustrating and annoying. Lots of wasted time and energy. The list of things they DO NOT DO as part of their SEO is huge, but what they actually do remains somewhat of a mystery. I asked directly several times what are you actually doing on a day by day basis and I never go a reply. They have no reporting system like every other SEO company that I have dealt with, who give a weekly report. They give no weekly reports or any reports at all. StewArt Media had many suggestions about my website structure. I am no beginner when it comes to website design and SEO. You can ask my good pal and SEO expert Ben Bradshaw (Google him). I did not agree with many of the things they suggested but I agreed to just about everything to give them the chance to prove how good they were. That was a mistake, the changes they made had NO positive impact on my SEO and just created an unruly website, which I am not happy with. As part of their package, I feel that they did not even address the most rudimentary SEO principles. My domain name StewArt Media were working on is an aged domain, I am in a very niche market with very little competition yet after 4 months of working on my site, all of my competitors are on Google page one and I am still nowhere to be seen. Several of StewArts competitors volunteered to track the work StewArt Media was doing on a weekly basis and all were literally laughing on the phone saying that there was little sign they were doing anything and this was reflected in the tiny ranking improvement, for example position 91 to 87 after 4 months, and all were shocked at the monthly rate of $1314 and the initial cost of $3746 Their customer service skills, their technical skills, their activity reporting where all very poor. At least 4 times I was told that the reason there had been several days delay in getting back to me was due to illness and other personal reasons. That is unacceptable. As a business, StewArt Medias internal staffing problems should not be brought to my attention. I found that to be very unprofessional and very frustrating as I sat for days waiting for a reply. I could go on, but suffice to say I am not happy with StewArt at all. They did not make any significant improvement on my ranking, they were secretive, sometimes confrontational to deal with, the experience was costly and frustrating in so many ways. They do not offer any avenue for online feedback on their service, which I find quite incredible, every client I work for is asked to review my work and a quick look around the internet will find many glowing independent genuine reviews, the same cannot be said about StewArt Media. StewArt Media over promise and under deliver. Around $6000 spent over 4 months. Value for money? No way! Dont make the same mistake that I did.
