Strathfieldsaye Bakery

We stopped for lunch and the experience was delightful. Staff were all friendly and helpful and we were seated and served really quickly. We enjoyed a pasty, a tasty chicken curry pie, a beef and onion pie and a pepper steak pie. We spoiled ourselves with hot coffees and some yummy cakes, the vanilla slice, raspbery lamington and jelly slice were the favorites. We also purchased a loaf of fruit bread, some rolls and grain bread which were devoured quickly. Cost was very reasonable.

The best coffee in the Bendigo area. Awesome staff and the sandwiches are the best, especially the satay chicken in focaccia. Yummy cakes and great bread.

Great bakery, all you could want and more. The coffee is great and keeps me company on my many drives to Melbourne. The staff are friendly and the business is kept clean, a fantastic country bakery enjoyed by the locals and I'm sure the visitors fortunate enough to discover this little gem in Strathfieldsaye

I found the bakery to have a lot of variety, we took a cake each and coffee away the day we were there.
The prices seemed reasonable, no more expensive than any other bakery.
A good range of fresh breads and rolls, also fresh cake's to choose from

Everything looked to be nice and clean, with table both inside and out of the shop to enjoy your lunch.

A Nice range of Breads, Cakes and Pies all at what seemed to be reasonable price's.
Hot and Cold drinks.
Coffee we had in a medium takeaway cup, was lovely and not too hot to handle, not too strong also. I find that a real problem to find a nice tasting coffee thats not bitter.

Also enter through the back door from the IGA supermarket carpark. Heaps of parking in the front and rear of store.

Strathfieldsaye Bakery make yummy fresh loaves, rolls, cakes, slices and pastries. My favourites are the blueberry muffins and the their croissants. They also have some gluten free bread loaves and cakes, and do nice hot takeaway cappuccinos.

The staff are all lovely to deal with and their products taste so fresh - their bread is often still warm from being made.
