Can't recommend Amanda Berry at Strauss-Murphy & Co Hair Emporium more highly. Amazing colourist, she's creative, on the ball with current trends, always knows what will suit each individual in terms of colour & style. Add to that, she is super lovely and always provides professional service. Great hairdressers are hard to find (trust me folks, I have high standards) and Amanda has always impressed me. She's a keeper!

I loved Strauss-Murphy and Co from the second I stepped in the door. Both the establishment atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Amanda always does an amazing job with the crazy fun ideas we come up with together. From funky cuts to undercuts, or colourful highlights to an entire head of lilac locks, she never fails to make me happy! I highly recommend you try this salon yourself, you wont be disappointed.

Amanda is an amazing hair dresser - she really listens and understands what you want whether its just a trim or whole new look! The staff at Strauss-Mutphy & Co are just fabulous. They are warm, inviting and make you feel right at home whilst still giving you that VIP treatment. Amanda is Ah-maZing and a true artist when it comes to perfecting your dream cut & colour. I have the perfect balayage thanks to her magic hands & am constantly stopped in the street or shops and asked where I get my hair done. Love having my hair done by Amanda. She always makes you feel like a superstar. Her advice is wonderful and her ideas about hair cuts and colours are endless. I have been having my hair cut, coloured and styled by the wonderful Julianne for several months now and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a quality stylist who takes the time to 'learn' what suits you and your hair. Julianne is very experienced and I trust her judgement with my hair. I am very particular about my hair and having moved from Sydney to Melbourne was concerned about finding a great hairdresser. Julianne was recommended to me originally and I am extremely happy to recommend her to anyone looking for a quality stylist.

Julianne is a very competent, creative and innovative hairdresser. She's very receptive to my suggestions, but can usually improve on them. She has been taming and improving on my unruly wavy locks for over 10 years - just when I think she has done her best work she gives me a new 'do' that surpasses the lot... and apparently made me look years younger! (that's according to friends who saw me later). She is also very resourceful on heaps of shopping, daily living issues and is a lovely person.
