Was called in for a promotional photo shoot, the staff were friendly and helpful the day of the photo shoot. When it came to reviewing the photos they were kind until you tell them you cannot afford any packages because they are overpriced, not impressed with the way they get you into a locked contract you cannot afford and if you dont make the payments they then give you a bad credit history.

I went in for a free photo shoot from one of the marketing campaigns they did and while I was a little bit uncertain about how pushy they were going to be about the marketing, I actually had a really good experience with them. All the staff were really friendly from the make-up people all the way through to the photographer and the photo selection person, and everything was a great combination of both really professional but also helping you feel really comfortable!

i love the outcome of my photo session but what doesnt appeal to me much is the price you pay for them, the quality is great and the staff are friendly. it was nice to be pampered while in the make up and hair style chair e.g. being offered ice chocolates etc

I agree with the previous rating. I "won" a photography sitting, which was meant to be "obligation free". After the sitting, which was very friendly and professional, things were very difficult. I was told if I did not purchase a photo package on the day, my negatives would be destroyed - hence did not allow for thinking time. The packages were very expensive, and a lot of pressure was put on to buy.
We decided to buy just a small selection.
On our contract, we stated we did not want our photos used for promotional material (due to my line of work0. We were very upset to see our photo used in a television advert. After several attempts at rectifying this, and getting a lawyer involved, we were told the photo was NOT of us, and that they had "lost" our contract. We eventually gave up, because it was proving to not be worth the effort. We haven't seen the advert with our photo for over a year, so hopefully it has been withdrawn.

Approximate cost: $2000

I went with my daughter who had a glam photography session with her friend. After having their makeup and hair done, they had a photography session. Both of them had fun, and were asked to come back in a few weeks. This is where the problems started. They had to pay a $495 deposit (which they did not have) as they were TAFE students. I am glad I went with them, as they were asked to try and purchase a package which was clearly out of their affordability. I find this very irresponsible of Studio 2000 as they are trying to talk their clients into finance which the clients feel as though they cannot afford.

Approximate cost: $2,000
