I went in for a free photo shoot from one of the marketing campaigns they did and while I was a little bit uncertain about how pushy they were going to be about the marketing, I actually had a really good experience with them. All the staff were really friendly from the make-up people all the way through to the photographer and the photo selection person, and everything was a great combination of both really professional but also helping you feel really comfortable!
The Arkaba is a very functional place. It has bar dining, restaurant dining, two entertainment areas, function rooms and rooms to stay in. They get in some great bands and are really worth keeping an eye out on the lineup. Food is nice too, standard but nice. Last time I was there organising a big group staff were really great.
Dusk is a really lovely candle shop with a great atmosphere and lovely range of candles. When in there recently I was very impressed with their aromatherapy range.
This place rocks! It is open - as the name suggests, 24/7 and is a great place to go in Adelaide if you're hungry in the middle of the night. They've always been really friendly, and have a great variety of bakery foods and heaps of different soft drink/juice/milk/tea/coffee options. Love the apricot roll. Nice central location too.
I love this place. Great atmosphere, great chocolate, especially the strawberry crepes. The staff are really friendly and it's a great place to meet up with a larger group of friends, although it's best to book if you're going to do that!
I love Cibo as a franchise, it's awesome! Especially if you are into soy milk, as they really use quality stuff. The city store is really nice, has chairs and couches upstairs, as well as tables etc downstairs. Great place for coffee/bite to eat with friends.
Gloria Jeans is a great franchise, good for coffee, and a nice comfortable atmosphere as well. I like the chocolate here too. The Modbury franchise is good, and holds the brand well.
