I had the worst haircut here ever on two separate occasions. My hair used to be wonderful when one particular staff used to work there...after the said staff left the business went to the pits....they're not even full anymore...hardly ever saw upstairs being used after the staff left and the number of staff they employ has visibly reduced. The first bad haircut was done by the staff who thought giving layers meant a 1cm layer on top...hasnt to this day grown back properly!! The second bad haircut was by the management (though id give it one more go...BAD mistake). They chop away at your hair in a haphazard and fast way and cuts way too much off...there is no structure to their cutting at all!!! They are extremely rough at the basin washing hair....the most unpleasant hair experience I have had. Extremely unprofessional and no skills whatsoever!

I've been a regular at Sublime Edge for years and know a number of people who also attend on a regular basis. The atmosphere is always welcoming and although I'm not exactly on time, having to travel from the Eastern suburbs, they never complain. My wife is picky when it comes to my hair and always reminds me when she thinks it is ready for a cut. She always comments what a good job they do when I get home. Thanks Ben and staff.

I would discourage anyone from trying this salon. My first and only visit my hair cut was uneven all over and worst of all there is an obvious hole on the left side of my hair where you can see my scalp (I have short hair). When I called to ask that it be fixed, management was rather abrupt, however I made a time in the afternoon to go back. When I arrived they were again abrupt and asked that I come back in 20 mins. When I got back they waved me over to a chair where there was hair all over the floor saying they'll be a few minutes. At this stage I was not feeling confident about them fixing my hair so when management came back over saying 'what was wrong anyway' I asked for a refund, which being the only positive they gave to me but at the same time I tried to point out the hole in my hair which they barely looked at and repeated a number of times 'yeah I'll have a go at them about it'. I commented that they had not once apologised for the bad haircut I got in this salon, management vaguely said sorry as they shoved the $50 at me. I was gobsmacked that they showed no concern over my unhappiness, and in fact I feel they were downright rude and seemed annoyed at me that I requested my problem be fixed, which would have made me feel a little bit better about the haircut.

I go there all the time and it's great. Nice people and always a good job. I dont even have to explain what I want they just do it. Some people always look for an excuse to have a whinge so thankfully they have nicked off to be a pain somewhere else! Get a life!!

Worst hair cut ever... I have never seen such disgraceful technique.... Thinning out scissors does not a hair style create! What I wanted was your stock standard layered bob... They basically hacked all of my hair away so that I was left with 1) hardly any hair therefore no shape, 2) uneven length at the back so that it sloped diagonally from the left to the right, 3) wierd long pieces that went over shorter lengths at the back. It is almost to bad to describe... and they had the nerve to suggest I was fit to go out that Sat night... :( I had to go to another hairdresser on the Sunday to try and save my style! I haven't even mentioned the customer service..... All I can say is never again.

I first visited this hairsalon because i noticed how busy it always looks when i drive past. i'd also been referred by many of my friends. They told me about a few "sports celebrities" that visit the salon too. I now go there regularly for my cut & colour, and im always very impressed with the outcome. I am thoroughly consulted and given the most "honest" ideas & opinions. It is a very relaxed salon to be in & i feel comfortable on all my visits. It's certainly a place i can go to escape my kids for a while. The staff are very helpful and friendly and i can tell they enjoy what they do. If my hairdresser is away i can easily rely on one of the other hairdressers to take over, because they are all just as good as eachother. Last visit i also noticed that the salon has recently recieved an award for "Best Customer Service" and they really do deserve it. They are a very busy salon and really work hard at all times. I will always be a loyal customer to this salon :) WELL DONE TO THEM!!

I used the services of this salon on recommendation and was pleased with first visit. The second visit was a disaster! The same hairdresser as before "massacred" my hair after me reiterating that I wanted a tiny amt cut from the top and that I DIDN'T want my hair short - it is so short now that it looks like a skull cap and I can't get a brush into it. It is all different lengths and completely unmanageable. When I appeared aghast at the results, I was told that my hair is "deceptive" & there's really much more hair than it appears!!!! I've had two independent opinions since, and both agree that the operator has performed a terrible job of cutting. There was no apology and I now feel embarrassed to attend functions etc. He works so fast that it was not apparent that he had cut the hair so short!!
