I met several friends here for dinner one evening and was pleasantly surprised how great the service was and the food. Not having had much Japanese food before, I was nervous to try new flavours but everything was YUM!

We've been dining here with family and friends for years and have never had a bad meal or bad experience. The service is always exceptional - professional, warm and efficient and the food is always fresh. The Banquets and Banquet Room is fantastic for a large group or special occasion and their Lunch Special at $14.50 is amazing value with a great selection to choose from.

The service was great; the food was aggressively average (and slightly overpriced, honestly, considering the quality). There was nothing about it that made it stand out from any other Japanese restaurant; the dishes also generally lacked variety. Being vegan, there was only one dish on the entire menu I could eat. I'm glad I got to see what it was all about, but I don't plan on coming back.

Has been and continues to be the best Japanese restaurant local to Ringwood. Great Service, great food and decent value. Its our 'go to' for a meal most often.

Hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants in Melbourne, Haven't eaten there for years but my wife and I went there the other week and it was better than I remembered. The chiefs are highly talented. Only drawback are it's a bit pricier but worth it and the restaurant's small space can make it feel a bit tight if it's full.

I have been to Japan on many occasion and this place reminds me of the food in lots of ways. You will be hard pressed to find a Japanese restaurant of this quality in the area. That said, there are a few minor flaws in some dishes, but that is a rare. Perhaps a bad day/night for the Chef? Who knows why these incongruencies happen?

The service really stood out - lovely attentive staff who were prompt and efficient but still smiley and friendly. The food was great overall - the tempura was lovely (though I did find it a bit heavy - may order it as a share-plate next time instead!), and the other people in my party had the kobe beef and raved about it. I'd definitely go back.

Went a couple of weeks ago and still cannot believe how amazing the food was.
Service was a bit slow but it was a packed house so can be forgiven.
Will go back again.

Friendly staff and reasonably priced food. Tempura prawns are always a treat. Plenty of dishes to choose from, something for everyone. Good food for a budget night out. Have been on a few occasions.
