The California rolls are always so SUPERB, also the seaweed roles are a treat! This place is clean and friendly and also has mini rolls for the kids. Its a family friendly restaurant.

the staff including the chefs are Chinese and not Japanese! they dress in kimonos to fool the customers who can't tell the difference. the menu is overpriced and the quality is worse than eating at a food court. it also tastes awful (too oily & doesn't taste fresh). the ceilings and interior are not clean - lots of grease from the teppanyaki cooking stuck on ceiling. the only thing authentic about the place is the green tea! won't be back again....first and last!

Approximate cost: $20

Very fast and friendly service. The food was very good, better than l was expecting. We had a banquet and the food just kept coming and coming. We were there on a Tuesday night and the place was packed! It is very close to home and i will go back again.

I have dined at Suishaya many times and, without exception, have always had a pleasant experience and a thoroughly enjoyable meal. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is great!

Most times staff attentive, they get very busy at times, so patience is required sometimes. Good food, and quality and sizes of serve, justifies price, which is still reasonable anyway. Try their Salmon, is yumm! and for desert, the pancakes take some beating!

I love japanese food, and this is local for me. It offers a large range of fresh, tasty meals. Although prices can add up quite quick, theres a 10% discount over $100 if paying cash. (From memory its $100)

Make sure you try the beef tataki! It is absolutely amazing!

High quality Japanese cuisine including vegetarian. Banquets are a great way to sample Japanese food if it is not something you are familiar with - lots of small serves of different dishes. I would recommend that you make a booking as it is usually busy.

A great local Japanese restaurant. Quite authentic cuisine, although the staff appear to be Chinese and not Japanese. The banquets are great value for money. If you have never tried Japanese food before, it gives you a great idea of the different dishes that exist in Japanese cuisine.
