Fantastic salon, with great people. They all really know their stuff and listen to what you want and make recommendations before they start, and involve you so you'll always be happy with the result. Their knowledge and style is top level and they really keep up with the times!

For a Groupon special, I was so thrilled and relieved - you don't always know what you're in for, but it really was such a great experience. Shelby was lovely and did my colour perfectly, and Jae did the cut exactly as I'd asked. He is a great guy and deserves all the support he can get. The owner and principle stylist Jae is a real one in a million, he is sweet and gorgeous and completely genuine, and he does fantastic cuts and they always stay looking great as they grow out.

He has an eye for what will work for your face, I always give him free reign and I am never disappointed.

I've been going there for more years than I can count and like all his long term customers I consider Jae a friend, he makes you feel special and at home.

I was new to Melbourne and needed a salon specifically that had skills in Great Lengths Hair extensions. I researched and found out the owner Jae was also a local trainer on Great Lengths. I also found out he knew my hairdresser in Sydney so felt even more confident before I arrived.

I went in for a free consult with Jae who was so fun, positive, smiley and just overall a really nice person. Very welcoming. His salon is decorated a bit funky so I felt that they'd be quite stylish there.

Jae spent lots of time with me checking out my existing extensions prior to quoting me for a new set. He even brushed out my old ones so that they were able to last me another 1-2months, thus saving me money.

When I finally went in to have my extensions removed and new ones put in, he used a better technique, his staff was fun, and I really enjoyed the experience. They looked amazing when finished and i didn't have the sore head I had when I'd first had them in from another salon in QLD. I've now had them in for over 3 months and they are still doing amazing. I just went back today to have a bit of a cut/trim and to ensure they are in good condition. I got a style and blowwave that looks amazing as Jae is a great stylist as well.

Overall I'd say I feel at home when there, as the staff are great and now both times I've been my hair looks amazing. Ppl never guess I've got in extensions and think I just have the most luxurious hair. I'd highly recommend Great Lengths as the way to go versus clip ins or the balls for extensions, and I'd recommend Jae to anyone. I can honestly say I'd go nowhere else in Melb, well unless Jae or his staff get sick of me chatting to them! :)

I've been going to this hair salon for over 15 years now. The staff are friendly and they do really good haircuts which don't just look good on the day of the cut but continue to look good until the next cut.
They are constantly updating the salon to keep it looking modern and trendy.
