Good location just off the highway. Went here for lunch on the way home for Sunny coast and pretty impressive. Affordable too for the five of us. Good decent meals and friendly service. Will pop in here again for dinner maybe next time we are up that way.

Great location just off the highway, perfect place to stop on long journeys, affordable, clean accommodation with friendly staff, we had dinner at the hotel it was quiet good quality and price as u would expect from a pub meal.

although this place looks a little worse for wear, once you walk into the hotel the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The service from reception was friendly, the hotel is very affordable, the rooms have a great atmosphere to them and are very clean and tidy with surprisingly ampl room, if i have to stay in the area again this is where i would stay time and time again

I have stayed here with my ex husband. I found booking the accomadation easy to access and easy to book. I found staff from reception staff to cleaners, polite and respectful. Everyone made you feel welcomed even though we were only there for one night I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. It has a dinning and drinking facility or Macdonalds near by if you prefer something fast food. They are not far from the highway for people not wanting to go to far off route.

Have stayed and dined at the Sundowner Hotel Motel. If you are looking for overnight accommodation in the Caboolture / Bribie area but don't want to pay Bribie prices, the Sundowner is definitely worth a look. The motel is set to the side of the hotel, but that doesn't mean it is noisy. Being near the motorway and Bribie Island Road, traffic can be noisy. However, in the block you have the hotel, motel, bottle-o, Maccas, Subway and plenty of parking. The hotel goes off at the weekend, but if you are child-free, it is a good night. The rooms are typical of your average motel; slightly outdated decor, average to good cleanliness, basic tea making facilities and old TV sets etc, however they are spacious, some have bunk beds (great for the kids), and some have spas. Expect to pay around $100 a night, and you can usually turn up on the night and get a room without booking.

We stayed here while visiting Australia zoo and found the staff to really friendly, polite and very helpful. We arrived there on a day it was 44 and being from tassie we werent ready for that sort of heat. The staff got us booked in quickly so that we could go to our room out of the heat. The room was basic and consisted of a queen bed, single bed, bar fridge, tea/coffee facilities and an air conditioner. But due to the heat the air conditioner didn't really work to well, it cooled the room down a bit but not enough to make us comfortable. The room was clean and had everything you basically needed for an overnight stay. We had tea in the bistro and again we were made very welcome. Both my partner and I had chicken parmas and my daughter had chicken nuggets and chips. My daughters meal also came with a free drink and icecream. The meals came out very quickly and were quite big servings. We all enjoyed our meals and went back to our rooms very full. They are very family friendly with a kids play area attached to front of the bistro and also each room has a little courtyard each that connects to a lawn area where kids can also run around. The price was very reasonable with it costing $90 a night.
