Esther and family are the most amazing people. They take what is a sad and emotional time and make it so easy for you at the time of grief. Unfortunately I have had to use Swanborough Funerals a few times for both sides of family and would never ever consider anyone else. So kind and compassionate and very caring. Have nothing but praise. Esther is the most amazing person.

I was very happy with the way Esther and her husband dealt with my mother in law's funeral recently. Mum died late at night and Esther was right there to collect her straightaway as soon as I phoned her. Esther went out of her way to call by and collect our slide show and matched the music perfectly right down to the last frame. The funeral sheet was beautiful, one of the nicest I have seen and I found Esther kind and caring but also efficient and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone having to go through the sad experience of losing a family member.

When my mum passed away in 2008, it was a very difficult and scary time..she died in Brisbane but was from Tara, qld - 4.5 hour drive away. I couldn't find a funeral home in that area that could come and pick her up from Brisbane and was being helpful, and I called Esther the very same day that Mum died and she was not only sympathetic but extremely helpful. she came to my house the very next day and helped me plan the entire thing. She went above and beyond her duty and to this day I am extremely grateful of her help in our difficult time. It takes a special kind of person to not even hesitate to drive 9 hours in one day with my Mum so she could rest in her hometown. Losing someone is an excruciating experience but Esther made the process smoother for my brothers, sister and I and performed a touching service to honour our Mum. We are so thankful for the help of Swanborough funerals and the loving touches they give, Thank you.

My husband did not want a funeral. His wish was to have his ashes scattered. This was the only company who did not want me to have an expensive coffin. Esther was very caring & professional. She helped us through a very difficult time taking care of the family and our ensuring that our loved one was treated with dignity. She helped us through every step of the process a lot of which we weren't aware of & gave us invaluable advice for what to do afterwards. thanks to her & her team the funeral was a great celebration of the life of our loved one. Can't stress how wonderful they were & highly recommend them. They have a great personal touch & are so much better than the larger companies.
