Extremely good value restaurant. The staff hospitality services were very warm. We went this place with family for a special occasion and were not disappointing.

The words "The Best" are bandied around a little too regularly, but in this case, they are pretty close to being accurate!

I have had a lot of Indian food in my time. Some excellent, some not-so good. But recently we visited Tandoori Temptations for the first time, and were VERY impressed. This is among some of the best, and freshest, Indian food I have ever tasted.

The service is also very friendly, and the prices are quite economical too!

This place was so good that we returned 2 days later! We'll definitely be regulars here.

Approximate cost: $17.50

Very nice food & people.
The following is for the restaurant owners - I reckon, the Ambience of an Indian restaurant while dinner time is expected to be dark with little bit of Candle lights and should not be bright like McDonalds :))))))))) if that helps ...

I went in here through my neighbour's reference, and believe me she was spot on, the food was wonderful, great service. I ate Tandoori Temptation Treat, which comes with appetizers, Entrees, main course and dessert, and every thing served was in good quantity and nicely cooked with authentic Indian spices and flavours. I loved it and would keep going their every now and then..

Not so far from where I live and seems like a good place to try.

Definitely an undiscovered gem amongst Indian Restaurants. Under relatively new management, we returned to this splendid eatery. (It was excellent previously) The decor is rather 'ye old worlde' and is a but of a pastiche of budget driven Indian themes, however I will sacrifice opulent and superfluous decor for a first class and inexpensive menu. Restaurant reviewers should always start with the premise that you are going here for the food.

The staff are very friendly and no request is a problem. The courses arrived, timed as requested and extras so often missing such as a wine bucket with ice were promptly provided.

The menu has a broad selection of all the usual Indian favorites, with some nice little surprises as well. Try the Chicken mo-mo dumplings as an entry (a sort of sensitively spiced minced chicken and corriandor steamed dumpling that is hand madeto order, fresh and absolutely wonderful. Sort of like a dim-sim might be in heaven) Otherwise the food is very good across the board. I choose Indian cuisine maybe once a week and have eaten at most of the Eastern suburbs stand outs. T.T. is now a solid favourite. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Jackson Court Doncaster, seating is available most nights, however word is spreading and I noted last night was booked out. Get in while its a secret.

Having been there three times in a couple of months I was pleasantly surprised that on our visit last night, our friendly manager informed us that that they would not be charging corkage as they valuaed our returned custom. I appreciate that genuine offer even though I am happy to pay for the privilege of BYO. Oh, and lest I forget to mention, the overall cost of the menu is at the lower end of the scale in comparison to competitors. The overall bill would not scare off the budget conscious customer looking for a warm friendly dining experience.

I would not hesitate to recommend Tandoori Temptations to family and friend alike.

Approximate cost: $15

Sounds like a gem of a restaurant! I will keep in mind to dine at in future! thank you for giving a good description of your dining experiences as it really sets out a good picture of what this restaurant is like. Perhaps you can mention to the restaurant owners next time you dine that you wrote a favourable review on WOMO, I am sure they will appreciate it :)
