I have used the boarding facility and doggy day care for the past 2 years. Chaz absolutely loves going to Tara, the staff are both polite and professional, I couldn't recommend this facility enough. Whenever there was the smallest of problems with Chaz I was informed straight away, and kept up to date, even whilst travelling abroad. I would have no problem recommending Tara to anyone.
I can't wait to see the massive redevelopment that is being built just for our dogs.

Our dog died while at Tara over Christmas. That is a huge sadness in itself. The shocking part was the lack of communication. I received a call at 4.40am in the morning to let me know. A second call followed 30 min later asking me to collect his body the day after we returned home. I received absolutely no contact again. I emailed, called, left voicemails. NOTHING. Eventually 4 days later someone answered the phone. In response to my request for a written contact I received an email from the owner (?) passing on his sympathies but never apologising for how it was handled. I requested a refund which was made. I was told our dog was happy the one day and then they found him that night. I’ll never know the truth. My concerns are evidence based and not an emotional response to a terrible situation. I suspect they may never have contacted me if I hadn’t tried for days. Disgusting.

I have used the daycare facilities about five times now and I have to say my pupper loves his time at Tara’s! The team are amazing and my boy comes home happy (also tired) every time. My boy is becoming a regular now and we could not be happier! We love it here :)

still can't believe it. no support after death or anything. shameful, second death this year.

I used Tara only once. they are a very busy and seemingly large boarding place. they have both dogs and cats. The staff were very nice. Everything was clean, and safe and security was fine. My hesitations were that I felt the dogs and cats were too close - a large number of boisterous barking dogs looking straight into the cat cages. I thought the cat cages were very small. Like vet cages.

The staff are very friendly and very trustworthy and makes me feel confident to leave my lovely cats in their care. The facilities are clean but I do wonder how warm it would be in the wintertime as the kennels seem somewhat exposed to the elements(however, they do have heating pads which is good).
