Ted's Camera Store

As a gift for my Husband I wanted to purchase an entry level 'Hybrid' camera. I was served by a young guy and was surprised how knowledgeable he was on the functionality of camera, I am NOT a photographer and everything was clearly explained. He suggested I go for the SLR instead of the hybrid and clearly explained why. Honest salespeople, great quality products, you can generally buy cameras cheaper online but you cannot go past Ted's for after sale service! Excellent!

excellent service from Emily who took much of her time to help me create a photo book with an enormous amount of patience. I had heard about photos made into a book, found teds camera on womow where anonymous said the staff had a lot of knowledge. had never laid out photos in this way. I got amazing help and knowledge and made my mum a book of photos from old negatives which she loved.

they have the best range of cameras and other stuff like memory cards so yer we just got a really good camera from her and its just the best u cant get eny better

This is a nice little store in Camberwell with a wide range of cameras and accesories. They have always had good quality items to by and very friendly staff to help you out. make sure if you are going to make a purchase you try to bargain them down, because i have found this works very well at this store.

I do like the range here, however the staff just sit at their little desk things and dont really welcome you in. It also gets very busy in their which makes you almost fight for an assistant. generally good prices though and the staff when you finally get to talk to them know alot

If you ever want anything to do with digital photography ted is the place to go whether you are an experienced professional or amautar holiday snapper you will find what you need with good service and prices too!

They are good value for prints if you download them over the internet and then pick them up in the store. On the negative, the software to do this is terrible and about 20% of my prints did not turn out as I wanted. On the positive side the in store servie was good adn they reprinted them as I wanted for free.

They also match any price for cameras that you can find around the place, so if you do your research they will match the best price you find on the net or other.

But then again on the negative, if your camera gets damaged they charge a $60 fee to "look" at it which is non-refundable if they decide that the camera does not come under the warrenty, and they are not very polite about it.

So, I found lots of positive and lots of negatives about this shop, I would use them for printing, but would be hesitant about buying a camera from this store.
