This restaurant is one of my favourite. Whilst its not cheap the service is excellent, the food is delicious and the wine list is exceptional. Do yourself a favour and visit Tender Trap.

A modern Australian cuisine but lacks a little gusto. We went early December 2011 for my mother in-laws' birthday. The place had a good atmosphere but the food was 'good' not great. I had the gnocchi and that was well cooked (gorgeous puffy pillows of potato) but the dish as a whole was lacking in flavour. I was a little disappointed.

The service was great and very professional. Overall, not sure if i would visit again.

Best dining experience I have had to date, food was amazing, great wine to compliment and service was quite stealth, kept our glasses filled and cleared our table with minimal interruption.

After a recommendation from a friend I decided to have my birthday at this restaurant. I wasn't disappointed. The only way that I can describe it is that it's like fine dining without the price. Not that it's cheap, but for the quality of food they serve the price is well worth it.

I love this place with a passion. Not only is the food fantastic, it's the whole dining experience. From the time you walk in the door you're made to feel welcome. The decor and the atmosphere are fantastic. The waiting staff are so knowledgible and soooooo confident it just adds to the overall dining experience. And the food! Sensational. I can not rate this place highly enough. If you want ratings based purely on price then it is not a "cheap" place to eat, but value for money on the whole overall dining experience is exceptional.

Upmarket restaurant you usually only find in the city , but this one is in the suburbs. Excellent service, a cut above the rest. Great place to go to without the kids.

Great food, excellent service. Classy but not posh. A great find so close to home. We have kids and although they don't have a kids menu, they asked the kids what they would like (fish & chips) and it was superb. Instead of eating the chips first, they ate the fish. It was sensational, fresh fish ina tempura batter. They even catered for the food allergies our son has - no fuss, no hassle.

Approximate cost: $33

I have been there on numerous occasions and it has been great. The meals have always been of a high standard and most enjoyable. It is BYO and fully licensed. It was wriiten up in the papers as being a "city restaurant in the suburbs".

Approximate cost: $steak about $27
