He was highly recommended but I was warned he is a bit slow and can take 6 weeks. He had my bag for approx a year with constant promises that it will be fixed within two weeks. Received a call recently to say he had passed away but his wife was taking over but they want to charge me $80! I said after all this time I was expecting compensation and they told me they wouldn't fix it then and to pick it up. And "good luck finding someone else to do it"! I don't think their reputation will carry them for long with this attitude.

Gave him a bag to restore 8 months ago. Still waiting for it. He has given me at least a dozen "promised" finish dates and they have never been honoured.

In the end I went down to collect my bag as I got tired of all the broken promises. It was then I found out the chap had passed away which was really sad and I felt desperately sorry for his wife.
I took the bag which had been pulled apart and some less than adequate attempts had been made to restore it so after having it home for a few weeks I decided it was a lost cause and dumped it in the bin.
End of saga!!!!

The Bag Doctor managed to do the impossible! The hook from the handbag was missing and he made a new one. Highly recommend.

A very quirky (but friendly) guy. Prompt service, but a little on the expensive side. Great for those jobs on slightly retro items that need attention.

Very happy to have an old suitcase repaired. The last available original maker roller was used to repair the broken roller. Nicely repaired and now usable again. Thank you
